Yes bro I got my 3rd session in yesterday on my face but since my 2nd I’ve been lucky the one under my eye has been fading really well. Best part is now I wait to see how this session recovers and results to come from this new previous one
I had about 3 sessions on a tattoo about a year old. Faded enough to cover up. Artist did a great job. I suggest plan on a cover up, the tattoo will never be totally gone and if it is, it will cost 100x more than a cover up
I've had one partially removed. I recently just got it covered up. Taking into account the one month gap between appointments, it was $150 per session with a 2.5 hr drive x 2 each time there and back. I wound up getting three sessions then stopped. It is effective and this was back in 2010. Wore the huge orange googly eye covering glasses (they said I was wearing $1k on my face) and they had me ice my tattoo for 30 minutes prior to the laser. I will say, it got your attention. Sorry for the long winded response. I wonder how much it's changed since then??
@@abeez85 oh wow. I wonder why they take so much longer now. I got a package deal of 3 sessions. I just got my first session done this morning, it’s night now and the tattoo looks almost the same.. they’re also making it sound like it’ll take 8-10 sessions to remove.
I’ve had two sessions on most of my tattoos. Some have faded extremely fast and will likely be gone in a few more sessions while others are a little slower but it is still noticeable. I have a friend going through the same process and has had more sessions than me but she has not gotten the results I have. It really depends person to person. The thing is to stay the course. It will fade if you stick with it.
I have 6 large black tattoos im removing. For the pain, it hurts ALOT but it kinda fast and the pain stops directly when laser is removed. Be prepared for the weeks after to be tough with lots of itching and brazers and swoll. Results will come slowly but steady, wait 6 months at least between sessions and it will be cheaper! Its still fades but slower and slower. To fully remove you will probably aim for at least 3 years for a tattoo with only black inc.
I had my 7th session, during my 1st to 4th session there was no skin cooling machine, during the 1st and 2nd session i can still tolerate the pain but on the 3rd and 4th the pain was intolerable for me anymore so I just waited until the skin cooling machine arrived before i have my 5th session, so far the skin cooling machine ease the pain i could say it is almost painless.. so the best thing is to do the laser tattoo removal with the skin cooling machine
@@justinkd hey man I have a question: I got a blow-out on my tattoo but my tattoo artist (a new one) fixed it perfectly covering it up with a darker ink. Passed a year now so it's fully healed. But when I pass my fingers on the tattoo area I "feel" the tattoo... I mean, it is in relief. So my question is if one day I'll have my tattoo removed, it will leave a scar with the shape of my previous tattoo? or when the pigment will go away my skin will come back og?
Just had my first session and the lady at the front counter described it perfectly IMO. It's like a really aggressive thin rubber band being pulled back far and snapped onto your skin over and over 2-3 times per second.
3 sessions into my removal of a bunch of old stuff. It hurts like a mofo. I was explaining it like a fat rubber band snapping on you repeatedly really fast. But bacon grease is probably a better example even though it stops hurting way faster than a grease burn. If you’re nervous about doing laser my advice. 1. Good full nights sleep 2. Hydrate like a mofo the night before and day of 3. Eat a hearty healthy meal with some good protein beforehand 4. 1 hour before appt Take some Tylenol (acetaminophen) DO NOT TAKE advil, aspirin, or aleve. GOOD LUCK YOU GOT THIS 👍🏻
Also, beware of scamming. You can take higher laser lvls. They will tune it down to under a 2. Me and many others in the industry can take higher lvls over 5
I've had two sessions on my upper arm to lighten it so it can be covered up. Both the laser technician and my tattoo artist said it's faded enough to be covered up and I don't need any more treatments. I had to wait 8 weeks between the two sessions, so about 4 months to get to the point where it's ready to be covered up. The guy who did my laser treatment had an attachment on his laser that blows very cold air onto the skin as the laser goes, so I didn't feel much pain at all. One thing your video doesn't show is the blistering after the laser treatment. The skin around the blue ink in my tattoo blistered a lot, but the skin around the red ink barely showed any signs of blistering. The blisters weren't painful, but it looked pretty messed up for about a week after the laser treatment.
Maybe am a bit strange, but I have now 2 tattoo removals, one 4 and the other 5 session’s,and I really like it,still more session’s to go,I don’t look forward wen they are done, because I get addicted on the removal!!!!!
Yes I’ve had itchiness after a laser treatment. Sometimes it’s only lasted a couple days… And there were times that lasted much longer where I felt it not only in the area that I had lasered, but over my whole body and I usually try to spread all my sessions least six weeks apart, but I do a little longer with about two months or so in between.
@@justinkd thanks for replying. I got lasered two weeks ago with the enlighten laser and I have itchiness randomly in different parts of my body. I was hoping I’m not allergic to the ink which I’ve heard has happened before but maybe I’m just paranoid. Thanks!
@CoolDawg900 it’s the ink being digested through the body. Comes and eventually goes so don’t worry to much… even though I know how annoying that itchy feeling is
Removing 9 at once and the itch is almost unbearable. Had to take prednisone twice. By injection and orally. Going to start splitting my sessions. 5 tattoos then 4 weeks later the other 4.
I'm trying to get 4 tattoos completely removed. 1 shoulder to elbow, and 3 others rougly 2-3×3. I was quaoted $4290. Is that bad or middle of the road? 🤔

@@justinkd I haven’t been going as often as possible, but getting a whole full sleeve removed plus additional full forearm and they’ve had to break it up into different sessions. Yeah it’s been ridiculous.
Iv had 8 seasons on my hand and neck started both seasons same day I always get them both done at same time my neck tattoos almost gone been told one more session will get rid of it completely but my hands about 6 seasons behind apparently it's because my necks closer to my heart I haven't really seen much different on the hand the last 3 seasons it's doing my head in I'm thinking about just blacking the hand out because lasers 100× getting the tattoo I can easily fall asleep getting the tattoo but laser I feel like tapping out luck they only small tattoos take around 2 minutes each season worse 2 minutes of my life
This is such a great example to how different areas of the body will react differently to laser. Yes that’s exactly why one’s so much more far ahead than the other. Like Rachel said in the video, extremities like the hands and feet (or anything that is further away from the heart because of the circulation) will tend to take a lot longer to remove then something close
I would definitely go to a dermatologist who has laser experience. Understanding, all the medical nuances of laser removal is not at all straightforward. Tattoo removal can lead to serious medical complications. I’m sorry, but a laser technician certificate is really insufficient in my opinion to understand enough to be a top-notch provider. What happens when something does wrong???
Tattoo removal techs definitely gauge prices. Idk why they think Bc they went to school for a month to get certified think it's okay give prices like they r surgeons / doctors. Gtfo
