Hi. Am confused. Does the quiz on your site always recommend the Premium course or am I missing something? Is there a difference in the Clawhammer content between the Premium and the Clawhammer Breakthrough Banjo courses? Thanks

No, it depends in part on whether you're only interested in clawhammer or would like to have access to the other courses.
Here's more info on the differences: www.brainjo.academy/choose-your-plan/

Off subject but would you please answer here as I am just starting. Some say to strike. #1 with middle finger and then strike 2,3,4 with index finger. Most YT teachers I have watched say to use either middle or index, not both. Which method do you recommend? Thank you, Pat.

I’d definitely advise using one finger exclusively to strike the strings - it can be either index or middle, whichever feels more comfortable at first.
Alternating fingers introduces extra complexity and challenge without a benefit.

    ?Any preference/suggestions about 11" vs. 12" pot??

I’d recommend 11” for a starter banjo. It’s more versatile in terms of tone, and less cumbersome, so a better option if you’re just gonna have one banjo, imo.
You can always add a banjo with a 12” pot to your collection down the road if you want to have a banjo with that particular sound.
