This took such a long time to make! I started this a year ago but I couldn't finish it fast. So I decided to make the other concepts which took a shorter time than this concept. It's finally done!
This concept was inspired by the game "A Way Out".

I love how the rivalry between Ryoba and the Journalist is portrayed as a frenemy trope above all else. Like a Scooby Doo trope of "grr, I'm gonna get you, Ryoba!" and "ugh, leave me alone, Journalist! BAKA!" instead of the actual abhorrent severity as portrayed in the game. The Journalist feeling saddened by Ryoba's imprisonment is definitely a nice, wholesome twist. With all the controversies of YandereDev going around, seeing content like this makes it all a little better. Especially when the Journalist just breaks into dance LMAO.

That would be a really cool what-if concept! After all, it’s kinda hard to implement something like this since it’s canon that she won the case but what if we could add what-if endings? I think that this would be a pretty cool concept for a what-if ending.
Also, I think that the journalist might have unintentionally created a bond with Ryoba would be pretty cool! Because I can imagine that he was pretty lonely when focusing on the Sumire case. So having someone like Ryoba scold him for stalking her could’ve been entertaining for him and now he misses it despite the fact that Ryoba was a murderer… I hope I was able to explain what I was trying to say?
