  • In this video, we show you guys how to build and setup Ohlins DFV Road & Track Coilovers model# NIS MI10S1 for our 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R. We try to go step by step using the instructions.
    I was late informed that you can get rubber top hats or the spherical bushing top hats. I went with the spherical bushing, and I will let you guys know how the ride is. I bought these from ‪@Z1Motorsports23‬ and I am excited to install these ‪@Ohlinsusa‬ coilovers.

    I have the same exact setup with rubber top hats. I find it a bit too harsh for street use honestly. I just order softer springs we will see how it goes. They ship with 9kgF and 8kgR. I ordered 7 front and 6 rear

      I find mine just right, are you adjusting the dampeners starting from the hard position?

    • @zboost300
      @zboost300 3 месяца назад +1

      @@DriversTherapy yes, I tried softest setting and also middle like your vid. I find it harsh, much harder than my e46 M3 or even the F430.

      @@zboost300 that is odd. I definitely would try something else. I hate to say this but the valving can be off or like you said, too stiff of springs.

      What brand of softer replacement springs did you order

      @@carminered ohlins, I ordered them from RHDJAPAN, you can get swift springs as well cheaper, but I wanted to keep everything original ohlins.
      Eibach also has them, but red in color. I wanted yellow ohlins, all about the details.

    If Owens is such a premium product, why do you have to assemble it yourself?

      @@jerrylee3887 HKS is junk compared Ohlins. I recommend you do some reading man. Clearly you do not know performance brands very well. HKS is a good company but comparing a company that just does suspension vs a company that does a million things good but not one thing great.
