    A true any card at any number.
    Ice Cold ACAAN is like nothing we've ever seen before. A freely named card is miraculously dealt at ANY number chosen.
    ACAAN is a plot that's been done to death.
    Mitchell Kettlewell has dug it up and revived it into a workable piece for people of all skill levels.
    Unlike most ACAAN methods, which usually have major drawbacks, this has none. Zilch, nothing... nada.
    • No force
    • No stooges
    • No gimmicks
    • No memorized stack needed
    & They can change their mind.
    The beauty of Ice Cold ACAAN is that you only need a NORMAL deck and the ability to count to 52. Easy.
    This really is as clean as it gets.

    I just want to say congratulations to Mitchell and his brilliant mind for this marvelous effect! I know that there is something pretty similar to this but Mitchell just pushed it as far as it could go. He made it as clean and as expanded as it gets!! I loved the whole tutorial, loved how easy it is once you have the basic method figured out and everything that he adds on!! This is literally a miracle that you can perform as soon as you finish watching the video (carefully). This... this is something else!

    I bought this trick and was so exited, and initially pleased, but I myself have found a much cleaner method!! One that allows you to hand the deck and have them shuffle it, along with choosing any number between one and fifty two.

      Great routine, well worth the investment. I love anything where it's not 20 minutes of someone beating themselves off over how many overly difficult moves they can put into one trick where simpler methods could be used.

      As I said on another comment thread, you can do this without knowing a stack, but I absolutely would learn a good stack like Mnemonica or Aronson. It means the cards can be dealt for this face up which feels fairer, and there's also so many other benefits to knowing one.

  • @ElMagoRob
    @ElMagoRob 7 лет назад +3

    I bit the bullet, for $9, I'm pleased. I only bought it because I want to add to my mnemonica repertoire. It's an excellent addition to stacked deck magic. A stacked deck is not necessary but its the best way to perform this.
    My only complaint is it should be named Any Card Any (restricted) number. Not a true ACAAN but I have found my own way around it that works perfectly and does not feel at all restricted to the spectator
    I also want to say that it is not truly impromptu, requires a set up but you need nothing more than a normal borrowed deck of cards

    ok guys I'm gonna give an honest review and I don't think I'm revealing anything. first of all this trick is amazing and so awesome that it's only 9 dollars so definitely buy it.second this is more of a mentalism trick then a card trick so it doesn't have slight of hand but it may require some "talking skills" that's what he means by not a perfect outcome tho if u know how to talk and have done things like this before it will work 100%of the time without the spectator being suspicious overall I would give this trick a 9/10 if it was worth 30 dollars but for a trick that's only 9 it's a 12/10 so powerful hopefully this helps.

    It took me a week to decide to finally purchase this download (does the world really need another ACAAN?), but with Lloyd saying how awesome the trick is I finally decided to buy it and all I've got to say is why did I wait? While it had its limitations it is easily my favorite ACAAN I can actually perform. And it's funny but the limitations can actually improve the effect. This trick can make the most novice magician look like a real wizard but too can be improved by the more seasoned professional. Great work Ellusionist!

    I just realized today while performing this that not only is there a restriction if the card is at a high number in which you need them to say a higher number, but also if the card is at a really low number and they say something like 40-50 it also won’t work because you’ll go to far in the deck. I got messed up mid trick and was like what’s going on. I really like this idea a lot but I’m not sure it’s practical enough to use

      There is not a truly free choice of a number from 1-52. The spectator has to choose from a range. If they choose a "wrong" number you have to get them to change their mind.

    Kinda false advertising with the "No memorized stack needed" part. I know what you mean by that, but still. Regardless I think it is a decent method, just not as invisible as the trailer lead me to believe. There are ways around this, which you cover. 10/10 still if I look at it objectively as a whole. 7/10 when compared to the trailer.

    To perform it as in the video you need to do a hell of a lot of extra work unless you already have this technique under your hat...I have not bought it but worked it out....still a great effect which ever way you perform it the easy way or the hard way .....the trailer is miss leading though.

    Hey guys, why do you say that it is easy to do? Every magician knows that Mnemonica is not the easiest peace of magic to learn. If I were a schoolboy and watched this video where you say that it is easy to do, no memorised stack is needed, I would definitely believe you. But you say absoulutely nothing about Mnemonica. Why??? Cose you want to have some money? I think it's not fair for people who know nothing about Mnemonica. But it`s only my opinion.

    • @LloydB
      @LloydB 7 лет назад +6

      You do NOT need to know Mnemonica to do this. You can choose to if you do know it but it's really not essential. Mitchell does not know any stack but performs this with ease every time. Once you learn the secret, you'll understand.

  • @havoc827
    @havoc827 7 лет назад

    Lloyd definitely used Mnemonica in his performance but you're saying that there is no need to memorize anything. So does the trick still look the same without Mnemonica being used? Like what subtleties are there b/w these two versions and how different is it to the spectator whether or not you choose to perform w/ Mnemonica or not?

    • @LloydB
      @LloydB 7 лет назад +2

      The only difference is; if you choose to use Mnemonica you can do it face up. But to be fair, I perform it face down for laymen because it builds more tension in to the final reveal. There is no difference between face up of face down for the audience. It's just sleightly more fooling when it's face down for them.

    Beautiful trick, but does it work with a borrowed deck?

  • @ianlockwood2003
    @ianlockwood2003 7 лет назад

    There Deck is in a stack , you are unable to use a borrow deck or give the spectators the opportunity to shuffle by himself.

    • @koegon
      @koegon 7 лет назад +1

      Ian Lockwood Mitchel does explain a way to do it with a shuffled deck by the audience near the end of the download. Go get it, it's awesome. Your mind will be blown..

    • @ianlockwood2003
      @ianlockwood2003 7 лет назад

      +Koegon i have and I'm more than disappointed. I mean what? It was obvious than you can use the method to let the spectator shuffle the deck. A Tutorial for that is more than unnecessary. You can't shuffle the deck exactly and you can't give the spectator the deck to deal at the chosen card. I will publish an Acaan that will blow your minds guys.

    • @koegon
      @koegon 7 лет назад

      Well.. That's unfortunate.. Good thing is that it did blow your mind! Just not in the good way..

    • @ianlockwood2003
      @ianlockwood2003 7 лет назад

      It requires an underground move which got lost in the last years. No forces , spectator can shuffle , you can show them the cards face up and say think of a card and search for it, the spectator deals to his card and and and . It's unbelievable.

    • @ianlockwood2003
      @ianlockwood2003 7 лет назад

      If I tell you the method , you going crazy, but therefore I want something back. See it as an exchange of experience , knowledge and magic.

      Mình nghĩ bộ bài dc xếp theo stack nào đấy, 2 nửa úp vào nhau, đầu tiên lấy bài ra chia vài con sau đó đánh lạc hướng lật ngược lại để lấy đủ số cây. Suy nghĩ của mình thôi vì trong clip rõ ràng có đoạn dừng lại khi chia.
