They can only win one way which is great in regular season but not so much in playoffs. Also about matchups. OKC has no answer for AD or Bron. Best they can hope for is shai outscoring both but that's not happening. Lakers beat OKC in 5-6 with OKC having home Court. Minnesota might be a full 6. Lakers if healthy beating anybody in the league in a 7 game series except Denver and Boston

To be honest I’m not surprised. For the past 4 years we have been sub par at best. To make the WCF we played a young team, an old team, then Denver smoked us 4 straight. Our only real test and we went 4 straight. Outside of that the lakers have barely been a play in team. It’s no surprise they don’t expect us to do anything spectacular this year. Also GM’s probably don’t like Rob haha so we can’t get a deal and the rest of the GM’s don’t rock with us 😅

Why do you think? Lakers are not the same organization when Jerry Buss was alive. If Jerry Buss was alive? He would have never not signed Howard and McGee after the Lakers won the title in 2020. I actually think that it’s about right based off the Lakers last season. Lakers have been barely a play in team the last few seasons. The Lakers haven’t added any new players. We have a rookie head coach. I really can’t call it hating. Now do the Lakers have the potential to be a top team? With AD and LeBron yes. But you have to factor in injury history with AD and LeBron’s age. I’m fine with being an underdog. Maybe we’ll sneak up on some teams.
I think this is spot on, some Laker fans are delusional thinking people are hating on them because they are jealous, but the fact of the matter is lakers have a rookie head coach, didn't make any improvements to the roster, AD and Lebron are a year older and last season they were barely a play-in team and that was with a perfect AD season injury wise and Lebron as well, so it's not that far of a stretch to think the Lakers might not make the playoffs or the play-in tournament.

I think Reeves, Rui and Dlo are all average players, which you need to have competitive team. They are not payed as superstars, but they are valuable pieces to the team. Maybe everyone has to just sit back and let JJ coach the team we have now. If Koloka is cleared, from the tape I have seen, he could be the answer at the center position. We need defense and reboinding from that position, he offers both. Even though he is thin, he is still very skilled.
