Also no one talks about it but scurrius is a boss meant to teach you how to pvm, yet there only 1 CA at all requiring you to be decent at the boss. When I try to help noobier players get better I tell them to do certain bosses and work on a ca or some metric to work towards (long trips at demonic gorillas without brews). I think scurrius should get at least 1 more skill based ca to help players learn the boss. It's CAs are easier than saracnis
A better speedrun achievement would be a slower time but require multiple completions at that time rewarding consistency instead of luck/proc farming. i.e. instead of getting sub 1:00 get sub 1:20 5 times
You don’t need to zcb vard, just void waker whack into double spec and then soulreaper, I’ve gotten 45 and 50 sec vard kills on both my accs under 10 attempts each
Well as an ironman with max gear i got all tasks done in 2 days, i get ur point but if they add time to the speedruns any1 can get it and grandmaster is suppose to be hard. With new gear coming in future these tasks will get easier just like cox and tob it wasnt that easy to get the times a few years ago.
These bosses are simply not suitable for a speedrun CA, it will always either be too easy or too difficult. To go with your analogy, it's like holding a poker tournament that's played off one hand. Winning or losing means nothing. So in order to make it a GM task, you might as well make people participate until they get pocket aces i suppose, but it's not fun for anyone.
I agree. I would prefer other mechanical ones. Personally I think axe enthusiast should have been within for whole kill. And do more mechanical kills over gm speed kills. Budget cutter is way more fun (and skill based) than gm times.
@@indarkment01 this, but it's better dps to scythe instead of soulreaper I think. got this gm time in like 40mins. Also, you can switch to suffering for recoil when not hitting the scythe (optional sweatlord strat). Don't forget ultor switch for vw.
Icl I think they need to create a new tier above grandmaster adopting sanity/oblivion style diary times. The problem is cox/tob times are far too easy - If I moneyraid beyond 15 mins someone is trolling for example, hell I’ve even 133xd a moneyraid which is 45 seconds faster than gm 5s. If we’re saying that these raids show skill, then why are the times so free while others are rng’d.
Yeah these speeds are cancer. Sub 2 whisperer is a Joke as well. I’m sat here constantly resetting for ZCB natural procs… this CA is literally impossible without complete max and yeah it’s a GM I get it. But Jesus Christ it’s so boring. I can do whisperer without missing a single tick and it’s never good enough for the speed because it’s all just luck 😂 the master CA’s are harder and better imo
Agreed, mechanical or perfection ones are way better. CAs. Budget cutter one stun Levi (maybe restrict that you have to kill in over 1.5 mins) and dark mems are more skills based and fun by far.
Don’t have to reset for natural procs, Kirby method starts with a spec and is very consistent. I got gm time 2nd try and had gm back in 8 hours of actual gameplay. Zcb proc vard starts are kinda troll too unless you’re trying for rec

These times would be dynamic and change as gear gets better - maybe even adopting a “top 1000” style
