I spent a ridiculous amount of the 2000s in that game. But I get it from today's zoo builder point of view, it's REALLY not a habitat building game... just plop down some fences, and there you go (just like Jurassic Park in the films).

If I remember correctly T-rex in zoo tycoon 2 actually has two sizes. When you adopt them they are juvenile and then they get bigger when they mature.
