Any 18 ft. self-contained RV is going to have less storage, of course. On the other hand, when campsites are hard to get we Axion owners can get any that are available--the longer the van, the fewer the sites that you can qualify for. And it drives a lot more like a car, parks more like a car. For extra storage we got a Walmart hitch-mounted flip-up platform and two 27 gallon bins. That helps.
It's a Ram Promaster conversion. The RV maker's out of business but Chrysler FIAT is doing fine. And the appliances in the van are all from going concerns. So no warranty on the conversion but plenty for the van and the appliances.
@@LAF943 The Thor 18M has the same layout but many differences in the details. The toilet is a cassette type while the Axion's is a marine toilet. Some will find that to be a biggie, one way or the other. And the Axion has an underhood generator while the Thor has an Onan gas-powered generator bolted to the underside of the van. The Axion has lithium batteries, while the newer Thor has the older AGM style. The Thor's bed pulls out while the Axion's flips out--more work. The Axion comes with a home entertainment system (TV, Blu ray player)--the Thor, nada. There's more but these are key. For the Thor Rize /Scope 18M any La Mesa RV dealer (including RecVan) is your best bet. I think La Mesa has this year's allocation spoken for but feel free to ask the local Thor dealers in your neck of the woods. For an Axion go to the Carado Axion Facebook page. One comes on the market an average of once a month or so--and gets snapped up immediately at around the Thor's new price. If the owner gets overly greedy it'll sit there until the owner comes down a bit, but don't expect any wild bargains. The RV market is booming and the few short Class B's are popular now.
What an amazing motorhome has it all and like she said park it anywhere. This is my dream
Looks good..for 65k...wheres the storage ?? For fishing skiing etc ?

Great entry level starter camper van. Just still concerned about warranty, quality control, and service!

Where can I buy one of these at?
Go to SEE GRINS RV in Gilroy. . If they don’t have any in stock, they can direct you on where to go. Happy RVing!!!
Rec Van in Fremont has the exact same van (with rear wet bath option). It’s the Thor Rize, which has the same floor plan....and price!

Nice and I see them for 65k new !!!
They're more than that used now. Less supply, more demand.
Nice presentation!
