Think there’s a light strip under the cabinets for your night light ? Also I like the Roadtrek Pivot floor plan better due to more storage, bigger bathroom and bench seating directly behind the cab seats.

Thanks for that - will go look at that model...

I agree that the Roadtrek has less space between the beds and I am with Jen in needing a reading light. Bless the Beau. He is a wonder.

Aren't those dimmable light strips above each of the beds? Are there light switches under the cabinets?

I like that you could rest your feet on the floor when sitting. Too many class B bed/sofas are too high. That tp holder was way more attractive than the big white plastic covers and stays dry behind the shower curtain. I applaud the design team for adding some soft color for the 50 anniversary edition. 🎉

Thanks for showing the new Roadtrek. I wouldn’t be happy with the opening space at the back doors. That should have been caught in quality control especially for a 50 yrs anniversary model & price point. Your honesty & showing the positive & negatives was well done & appreciated. 👍🏻Hopefully Roadtrek will make note of the negatives & make some changes. I agree with your assessment, too tight for my liking, but that’s just my personal preference. So thanks again for making this video! Very informative & interesting 😊

Nice unit. The beds look very comfy. Overall quality doesn’t seem as nice as the Coachmens. I agree with you on the running boards and a nightlight. Surprised the toilet paper holder wasn’t covered in the wet bath.

not crazy about this one, especially at the price level. Many small features that would be annoying to me like the water pump, the cabinet pulls that will catch, no shelving in the wardrobe etc. But I heard great things about the fridge!

Nice, honest review. Well done. I’m concerned with the bathroom being right behind the driver’s seat in this model and others you have reviewed, in that it might make me feel a little claustrophobic, especially when the cab looks a bit tight to start off with. Did this ever bother you? Thanks again.

I like the Ram and green interior, the large sink and the fold down extension on the counter top. But the cabinets look like less quality than in Coachman.
I don't recall if he didn't mention if solar or lithium options, but this would not be one of my choices. THANK YOU for sharing.

Santa Fe Palms is a nice little RV park in Gainesville. We've stayed there a couple of times while having warranty service done at Sunshine State RVs.

Does the bottom cushion of the bed lift up so you can properly make the bed? That’s an issue I’ve had with other RV’s I’ve owned. Cushion didn’t come up so there was no way to keep the covers secure on the bottom sheet.

Great review!!! I think the Road trek's are well built and I will be considering this one.
Here is a terrible question... what was that ford rig you pulled in beside a B+ at the at the 8.21 time line.

  • @dross24MA

Thanks for a good Class-B review series.
Sorry, but I think I like the layouts of the old Popular and Versatile models better. 🤔
Especially disappointing are the lack of aisle space, the lack of second row seating, and the loss of over-all shower space.
Also, I liked how the old ones incorporated a lowered floor to provide interior standing room without requiring excessive exterior height.
Over 9 feet high? Yikes! Bummer. 😢

Thank you for some of the review; just like on the Travato K rig, you did not show us how you cook, and WHERE DO YOU EAT? I am a former owner of the Travato K and we sold it for that reason; either you have side by side beds or a place to eat (like the Travato G). A place that you don’t have to build every time you wish to eat. Other than that it drives well and no place for anything. Just my 2 cents

In case you didn't see it, as I said in in my comments to your last video, there are not solutions, only tradeoffs. AS you compare chassis, you like the maneuverability of the ProMaster chassis. Unfortunately, all of the Sprinter chassis you've tested are the longer wheelbase models.
I would like to see you drive a 144" wheelbase/19' long Sprinter chassis and compare to the ProMaster. I think you're going to see the best of two worlds. The large cab and driving convenience features of the Sprinter, and you'll see maneuverability on par or better than the ProMaster. The 2023+ Sprinter chassis has electric power steering that makes the steering very responsive. And the 2023 removes the two speed transfer case, and goes from a seven speed to a nine speed transmission. The two extra gears make it feel peppier from a standing stop.

The back doors look unfinished. It needs cloth or something that makes it more like a home and not a cargo van. But all in all it’s a nice van
