great explanation on the multiple tunings Trent. thanks so much, when i first started i was unsure what to do with the drone string in different tunings. i have finally started using my capo and playing more in double C and D. i had the G tunings and sawmill down, i just needed to expand my options for tunes.
@@RockStarOscarStern634 I’ve been meaning to do a part 2 with some more tunings. These were just the most common ones I come across in playing Old-Time.
Bah humbug--- if I never drilled into my instruments without knowing what I was doing, I never would have ruined them and then work out how to fix them which of course led to making them. Buy cheap, be bold and abrasive! 🤣 Great vid though, seriously

My favorite tuning is actually a Perfect Fifth below Open G so Open Low C.
