I see what you're saying but I think her and her record company are releasing more "pop" records initially so she can get radio play, then hopefully people will look her up and find her more low tempo, sultry songs. Tinashe has always had a mix of moody, mid-tempo, and up tempo songs. She likes to switch it up, and this kind of song is right up her alley in my opinion. Quite a few of her songs are ambient and heavy on moody synths (like Bet, Cold Sweat, and Bated Breath from Aquarius)--and oh my god Secret Weapon from Black Water is sensual af. But then she'll put something out like All Hands on Deck, or This Feeling from In Case We Die, and Ecstasy from Reverie, which are pretty upbeat or mid-tempo but they still feature her signature tone. I don't know, I could write paragraphs about a bunch of her songs. I really like the stuff she puts out.

It is, her vocals are the same but this one has the full background vocals it's really noticeable at 0:55 and 1:56 here it sounds so good and on the video it's so bare (all throughout they removed them)

The Wonderland performance of Company was 🔥. She changed it at the iheart festival i dk why, but I hope it was just cause she was wearing high heals. Cause the wonderland performance was perfect in every way vocals and dance 😍 and I heard she learned it in 2hrs WOW! I just hope once Joyride drops RCA doesn't drop the ball and promos it like they did with 2 On and Aquarius. They need to get her on Ellen and the morning shows. They need to expand her audience and get more pop stations to play her music not hip hop stations. And find her someone that has a wide versitile audience like Britney Spears to open for. But when she opens she should be the only opener and have her open at night if it's outside with big jumbo screens so ppl can actually c her performance. And give her at least an hour set time. Unlike when she opened for Nicki they had her open second and it was barely 7pm and hot as hell outside, gave her like 5ft of stage u couldn't hear the music really, or see her and they had more then enough screens that she could've been on but since the sun was shining they where worthless if they where on. And also don't start the show till everyone is let in. Cause when I saw her at the pink print tour tons of ppl where still pouring in at 110 weather with no shade. Unless u where front row u had a little shade and could see. But the rest of the ppl couldn't see anything. But when Nicki Minaj comes on they have both left and right screens on for the back audience and the huge stage jumbo screen on and pyro for the everyone else. Also RCA needs to hurry and drop that album so she can start getting some music and nusic video nominations and even a chance to perform on these big tv show awards. Everyone knows she slayyed the BET Soul Train awards. But since no album I bet that's why she isn't getting offered. Cause Aquarius came out in 2014 and we are in 2016 can't keep using 2 On. And we know she has some hits on Joyride not just Superlove, but now Company! Ride of Your Life and Party Favors is like they never existed even tho those r bangers because of RCA not doing their jobs 😡

Alright before we start throwing stones at a nigga let me just start by saying I have nothing against Tinashe (she a baddie 😍😂🙄😭😭😭) but I gotta say I was a tad bit disappointed. I like the idea of the song. I like that Tinashe is trying to be more sexy and such. But come on man this beat just doesn't fit the tone that my girl evokes. It's too upbeat rather than it being "sexy" enough. Like Tinashe's cadence and her inflections give me that "slow jam" type of feel (something like Motivation by Kelly Rowland) but the beat doesn't that's all. Good song idea. Great tone. Just a bad environment lol. All love for Tinashe though🙌🏾💚
I see what you're saying but I think her and her record company are releasing more "pop" records initially so she can get radio play, then hopefully people will look her up and find her more low tempo, sultry songs. Tinashe has always had a mix of moody, mid-tempo, and up tempo songs. She likes to switch it up, and this kind of song is right up her alley in my opinion. Quite a few of her songs are ambient and heavy on moody synths (like Bet, Cold Sweat, and Bated Breath from Aquarius)--and oh my god Secret Weapon from Black Water is sensual af.
But then she'll put something out like All Hands on Deck, or This Feeling from In Case We Die, and Ecstasy from Reverie, which are pretty upbeat or mid-tempo but they still feature her signature tone. I don't know, I could write paragraphs about a bunch of her songs. I really like the stuff she puts out.
