As a mom who struggled potty training my little boy, the key is CONSISTENCY! it definitely gets annoying cleaning up accidents but just dedicate an entire weekend to stay home and keep ledgy with no diaper on! No matter how many accidents, just reinforce and remind him where to go potty. Each day that he spends completely diaper free he will have less and less accidents! For my toddler it took 4 days to start getting the hang of using the toilet, and by the beginning of the second week he was comfortable and going to the bathroom alone! So I’d definitely say just ditch the diapers and pull ups for good! Only underwear!!
aw as a dog advocate, i’m so happy you guys really put thought into your decision to not get the dog! a lot of dogs end up at shelters because people can’t keep up so s/o you guys for being smart & responsible! ❤
Hey so I was able to potty train my daughter within three days and the trick is to completely take the diapers away and let nature run it’s course. They’ll have some accidents at first but eventually they get tired of the feeling. Also reading potty training books and singing potty songs helps. But it’s really just making them figure it out and reminding them to go to the toilet every 30 min
@@elisahernandez3086 i would recommend starting now! getting her used to sitting on the potty! my first baby was potty trained before age 2. but also don't get discouraged because every kid is different!
YESS YES YES try it your hair will curl more for sure its wavy right now because of the heat damage but it will start to curl once you wear it more natural. That's what I did
I loved all your videos Alondra. Especially the ones when you do your makeup and hair and when you unbox your perfumes, clothes, etc. Much love to all three of you. 💋❤️
No diaper in the house. Just underwear. He will use the restroom as soon as u put a diaper on cuz thats wat he is use2 but not going in his undies. That will make him feel uncomfortable. He will learn fast & give him like 3 skittles or 3 m&ms wen he does use the restroom. Worked great 4 both of my kids 💪🏽
Yes I second this and you tell him it's bad and no don't go in your undies.that it's Nasty don't go in your undies. N he will try more n reward him for going when he does.
You guys are hilarious ❤ So I potty trained my 2 girls and helped with my godsons. Hope these tips help. •No diapers at all, so use all you have and officially say bye. lol • Stay indoor for at least 3 days for fewer accidents. • Constantly remind him every 20- 25 mins if he needs to go. • Use regular underwear • Make sure everything you care about is covered with a protective cover for easier wash. Why the no diapers... It will just create confusion. Remember, it's hard but totally possible. Again no night diapers, lol
Hey Alondra 🩷, love love your video’s!!💖 what helped me potty train my now 4 year old daughter, we made a chart with squares, get a blank sheet of paper and do how ever many rows vertical and horizontal you can fit to make squares and everytime baby ledgy uses the restoom let him put a sticker and i kid you not he’ll get super excited and want to go! Hope it helps🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 or also get a basket full of little prizes and small candies, and everytime he goes potty he can get to choose a little prize!😁😁 You got this Girl!🥳🥳 your an amazing mom!!💕💕
You are exactly right ! i mean No disrespect to the other mothers who are trying but you’re the first mother in the comment section who actually knows the correct way to potty train
Do not put diapers on ledgy . It'll. Confuse him . Put underwear and push liquids and set a timer for 15mins and take him. If he doesn't go it's okay . Just so he gets comfortable and familiar in listening to his body. If he has accidents don't make it a big deal about it
Alo you should try putting product in when your hair is still a little wet. That way your waves will come in more. My hair is also wavy and I do this :). I use the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and hair oil ✨
Idk if anyone has said this yet or not but what helped with my son going potty was giving him a cup of water with a straw while he sits on the toilet and telling him to blow bubbles in the water. It helps him trigger the same muscles it takes to pee because they don’t really understand how to push the pee out yet. ❤
I work at a daycare and its usually always hard at the beginning, you can try all the tricks but the real trick is literally just staying consistent! We had a child that WOULD not go, so we just kept putting them on the toilet every 45 mins ish .. and eventually they started using it!
What worked for my son was to use undies but no diaper at all, only use a diaper overnight if need be. My son would pee or poop himself and once he realized he didn’t have the protection of a diaper then he learned how to use the toilet. Now he makes zero accidents. You got this Alo ❤
Potty training tip that worked for my son 17 years ago….. get a small handful of fruit loops throw them in the toilet and make it game tell him to shoot the fruit loops 😂 haha sounds nuts I know but worked for my son. Also get a mattress protector have him potty before bed every night, let him sleep in chones (hide the pull ups) after a few accidents he’s gonna realize he doesn’t like the feeling of being soaked and he will know he needs to go to the potty. During the day Every 30 minutes remind him let’s go potty reward him everytime he goes potty sugar free sucker or sugar free popsicle or whatever works for your home…it’ll then become a habit! Goodluck Alondra and Benny
POTTY TRAINING TRICK: as weird as it sounds, keep him with no clothes on! Be on alert the first 1-3 days! He’ll see that he cannot pee in a pull up. Accident are OKAY. He’s learning. Give him lots of water, and ask to go potty every 15 minutes. He’s going to need it, you take him and wait 5-10 min, no longer and keep it going. I’m a nanny and she got it down within 4 days!! Hope this helps??
He’s not ready to potty train It’s okay! He will let you know When he is. I made the mistake of forcing my son and he would cry and once he was ready. It was so easy! Let him guide you!
Every kid is different when it comes to potty training but what I’ve found what worked best for my son is taking him every 45 minutes and he sits on the potty for 3 minutes . If he goes pee in the potty he gets a reinforcement (candy, toys) whatever he likes most that will encourage him to go to the bathroom independently. But if he doesn’t go pee within those 3 minutes he doesn’t get reinforcement. Getting a potty seat on the actual adult size toilet seat is best and just make going to the bathroom fun 🎉 hope that helps 😊
Idk if you’ll read this but for potty training I went old school with all 5 of my kids, thick training underwear either rubber underwear on top, worked every time
When it came to potty training my firstborn, I would give her mini M&Ms. It worked great. Im sure you'll come up with some great ideas to encourage him to use the potty. There's also some cool books as well for kids.
Alondra try the oh crap method! It’s where baby goes completely nude (or wear a shirt only) for 3+ days straight. Focus on potty training and learning what that feeling of needing to pee/poop feels like. After a couple of days add loose clothing and then once he’s got it down you can add underwear+his clothes in a few weeks. No diapers at all it’s really confusing for them!😊
I can tell you don't watch their videos benny does more than alondra from what I've seen but its understandable alondra has depression and sometimes cant get out of bed so benny motivates her to move around and do things they're working as a team
My son was potty trained in 2 days! Keep him undressed from the waist down, complete butt out and everything. Take him to the toilet every 30 mins and when he does give him a reward he really likes and cheer for him. I used hot wheels for mine. Plan to be home no outings for a week while he gets the hang of it! Good luck momma every kid learns at their own pace❤️ you can also have puppy pads on carpet or any furniture you know he will be on. I didn’t let my son on the couch lmao just his little chairs and his little couch. Give him bunch of fluids so he can fs use the toilet in those 30 mins!
Really mija all you Need is a Board/ Stickers/Little Toys that he really likes as a reward 👏🏽🙌🏽 Whether it’s Dinosaurs or Car’s Ect…. He’ll find Fun in that and want to keep using the toilet Lol
alo is me af with the "lets donate your shoes" and then thinking about the memories. 🤣🥺 #momlife I have a whole bag of baby clothes of daughter cause of the same thing. 🤣
For potty training - Set a timer for every 10 minutes to take him to the potty, adjusting the interval as he becomes more comfortable. - While he’s sitting on the toilet, run warm water over his private area. - Running water while he’s on the potty can help stimulate the urge to pee.
Alondra girl u can get his baby shoes bronzed, it's like a trophy its the cutest thing u want to pick out a dress shoe and a pair of Nike or whatever he liked or you liked when he was a baby u can do to as many as u want but I think u would like it, my mom did it, I did it, and u can do it with each kid to, u can do a couple when he was a baby all the way up until 1,2,3,u can youactually do it every year.
Schedule the potty breaks. Even tho he doesn’t need to go potty, have him sit there for a couple minutes. Potty breaks should be consistent…. Every 10 minutes take him :)…. Took 2 days and BAMMMM…. Potty trained. ❤
I’m also potty training and was struggling, I got him to go by refusing to put on a pull up and making him feel uncomfortable. It was a horrible 2 days but I got him to start using the potty 😅patience is key
My daughter in law bought my granddaughter a watch the goes off every 30 to remind my granddaughter she has to go potty it helped so much it was a song that she liked
And for potty training I suggest try the 1 week non going out and have him in under wear all day and put a timer every 1 hour sit him down . If that doesn’t work and he’s cry’s his pediatrician recommends to don’t force him he’ll do it when he’s ready, I’m a boy mom 🩵🩵🩵 and it’s been hard , but they’ll start showing signs when they’re ready and letting you know etc when he shows those signs start sitting him, and get board and every time does pee or poop then reward him and put a star in his board and reward him each time he’s does it so he gets more excited to continue to sit in the toilet . Hope this helps .
Hi!! Potty training tip!: Whenever you or benny use the washroom bring baby with you and sit him on the potty. My mom used to do that with me whenever she went so I can go too,it make me feel comfortable and not alone when using the potty. Then eventually I started going by myself because I knew how and didn’t need to go with my mom anymore!
I talk about how my kids say “mama” so much , they use it to start every sentence and question, they won’t stop saying “mama” until i make full eye contact and completely drop what i’m doing 😂🤣😭
Tip for potty training I just got my son couple months ago to fully be potty trained back in may and I’m so glad you’ll have to fully put him on underwear put a timer on to take bathroom breaks as much as possible so he will get the hang of it also you can buy some erase markers so when he goes to the bathroom put him facing the lid of the bathroom so he can draw it’ll help him more as well wanting him to go to the bathroom
I was able to potty train my son by keeping him with no underwear and no bottoms the first day and giving him lots of fluid that way he can recognize what it feels like to go he needs to go and then just add and underwear and decrease the amount of fluids.
