    I test drove a used 2016 Mazda 6 Sport. After the test drive, I looked at the salesman and said, "shutup and take my f'ing money!" Traded in my 2013 fully modded Subaru Impreza and never looked back. What a fun car! I really don't want to mod it either, because it's perfectly balanced with really nothing lacking. Yeah, I could mod it for more power, but this car feels great through the power band. Just pulls and pulls and pulls until it shifts. Couldn't ask for more in a daily driver!

    I'm now driving my third Mazda. The first one was a 1989 Mazda MX6. It was on the road for 17 years. Next Mazda was the Mazda6, 2007 model. I kept it 10 years till it was rear ended in July of this year. Best car I have ever owned. My new car is the Mazda6, 2017. I hope it is a good as the others. Good ride, good dependability are what I expect.

      @@dragosnastasie3290 Very pleased with the car. No repairs, just regular maintenance. The car is so smooth on the highway. No regrets about the purchase. A new Mazda6 is unfortunately no longer available.

    I just got my Mazda6 GS (Canada) with premium package. It is a 4 cylinder 2.5 but it does not feel underpowered when you drive as the transmission is nice and smooth and one of the best I have driven. Leather seating and the interior is nice compare to the competition. The only thing that lacks with this is the turbo engine. The only problem that I noticed that the backseat headroom is kind of low as there was no in dent unlike the front. I love how it turn and goes into corner. Fuel economy is phenomenal. Trunk space is huge as I can fit 2 stroller plus groceries with ease.

    Mazda 6 is “The Car” beautiful and well designed. I’ve owned a 2010 Mazda 6, has almost 90k miles and zero problems after almost 8 years of ownership, just regular maintenance. Getting ready for an upgrade. Nice video and new subscriber. Mazda 6 should be # 1 but that’s ok cause gives you the feeling of exclusivity lol

      Jobula Hope u can wait for the 2018 model! Aside from the obvious 2.5 Turbo option, the interior is receiving a big update; including re sculptured seats.

    The Mazda 6 does in fact have all wheel drive in international markets. It's simply that Mazda feels there wouldn't be demand for it in the NA market, unfortunately. Sure would love the diesel with AWD. Yum. Good review!

    Great review as usual! I just got the 2017 Mazda GT in black - I've driven many cars and Mazda truly delivers quite an amazing experience for a non-luxury... You get a lot of car for the money... And if you want more power - wait for the 2018!

    Last year, I test drove the 2016 Honda Accord Hybrid and V6, 2016 Mazda 6 GT, 2016 VW Passat 1.8T, 2016 Malibu Hybrid, 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid, 2016 Subaru Legacy, and a couple of others. The Mazda was, by far, the sexiest of the bunch and best handling but this comes at a cost: outward visibility (especially with the Tech package) and lack of space (due to the low roof line). I really wanted to like the Mazda but, in the end, we went with the Subaru (actually, a 2017 fresh off the truck which came in the color combo I wanted). Next to the Mazda 6, it was surprisingly the best-handling of the bunch due to its boxer engine and AWD with torque vectoring. It was also quieter than the Mazda (but not quite as quick) and excellent fuel economy (the readout says 32.8mpg lifetime after almost 20K miles, Fuelly says it's more like 30.8). Sadly, there is no obvious king of the hill in this segment. Each has its own merits and demerits.

    Out of all them as Kia Optima, Honda Accord I'd much rather have the Mazda 6. I never had a Mazda vehicle before but believe the 6 is worth more as Mazda has great reliability. It looks more sportier and has great performance in its class. I believe it looks better than Camry and Altima put together although I am a die hard Nissan fan the Altima is somewhat boring in different ways. For me if I went back to buying a car wanted something between Kia and Mazda I would go for 6.
    1. It looks more aggressive.
    2. Probably offers a much better ride.
    3. I might be wrong but think Mazda is better than Kia.
    4. Not sure if the 6 has good fuel economy.
    5. Mazda has done well on their lineup of cars - (ZOOM-ZOOM)
    6. I'd feel much safer driving a Mazda.

    Give us a more detailed review on the skyactiv-drive automatic transmission vs dual clutch, CVT and step AT transmissions. Mazda claims it's skyactiv-drive is the ideal AT with all the advantages of the various types of transmissions. A detailed review in any of the modern automatic transmissions is vital.

    I can unfortunately say that the Mazda 6 is a very safe car as an oncoming turning car crashed into me when I had a green light right as I entered the intersection.
    I’m without a scratch; impact was between 25-30 mph… but my car is completely ruined. The other driver was declared at fault and I’m hoping for the best outcome on my end. 195,000 miles and not one single check engine light; just fluids, tires & suspension. Was practically counting on at least two more years and maybe one more year of road trips before that accident. Quite pissed my car didn’t die a more natural death…

    Love this video Dave Erickson!!! How reliable can a Mazda really be in the long run? I've been influenced to believe Fords and Mazdas are not reliable like Hondas and Toyotas. But I've never been sure about Mazdas. Can anyone vouch for Mazda? They've been coming out with beautiful cars and I want one lol

      Mark Magana we have a 13 and 14 Mazda 3 and haven't had any issues. A friend of mine also had an '08 and had no issues. Ford, on the other hand... I had nothing but problems with my '15 Fusion.

    • @markmagana2149
      @markmagana2149 7 лет назад

      That's reassuring! How many miles on your two Mazda 3s if you don't mind? & your Fusion, what's wrong with that? I've read about them having engine problems not too long ago.

    • @hxcmusiclife
      @hxcmusiclife 7 лет назад +2

      Mark Magana The 13 has around 70-80,000 miles, 14 has a lot less. And I no longer have the fusion, but there was consistent problems with it, mostly electronics and build. Some Ford wasn't even able to fix

    • @markmagana2149

      Roger Lo I ordered the 2017 one last month and it arrives next Thursday. Simply because the price dropped massively due to the 2018 model only being round the corner and the fact I'm impatient. The 2017 model is amazing so I can only guess how good the 2018 model would be. Is it a facelift or total redesign?
