I enjoy seeing the parks in my home state of Iowa. It was amusing to see that you also went on the children's rides. Thanks for the wonderful memories! My family is planning on visiting this park before the season is over!

Iowa is certainly growing and especially with the addition of a new RMC coming to lost island! I have a review of that park coming soon, too! Thanks for watching!

Thank you. I haven't been there in years, and starting to miss the old Adventureland. I don't miss the rough Dragon, but the design was a good steel coaster. Used to go during State Fair, and the park would usually be empty, so my friends and I would ride Tornado or something continuously until we were bored. Recently, I drove by after visiting the State Fair and noticed the long line for the Tornado. Also, sad a Walmart and commercial area moved into the empty corn fields behind the Tornado as the corn fields used to provide a nice view. I prefer looking at a sea of fields than a Walmart parking lot with an Arbys from 100ft up. The log ride used to be fun. Put the heavy people in the back and a wall of water comes splashing over on the drop. Surprised the sawmill Splash is still there. Rode it once with my friends. 3 of us were a bit heavy. We had so much speed coming around the u turn that the boat nearly went over the edge. Seemed a little dangerous to me. Outlaw is fun, but I get uneasy watching the whole coaster sway on the first drop. Lastly, the Raging Rapids or whatever was a staple ride. Sad to see it go. Another thing I've heard disappeared was the trolley shuttle from the resort. Also heard lately from people that the resort is trashy. The resort used to be so cool with the giant pool before they added the new addition with another pool. We'd get a room by the pool, and family friends would get together in the afternoon or evening to enjoy pizza, card games, or beer before hopping in the pool at night when the bar in the pool area had live music. Sucks the good times are over. I guess that means I need to make new good times somewhere else.

I grew up coming to this park and I feel opposite as you. I think the park has improved tremendously, they added new, thrilling rides, and old woodies like tornado were NOT enough to make this a good park. Personally I cannot speak on the resort side, but heard they have put some good work into that as well. I totally think this this is a place where good times happen and would recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun day. Sorry you feel otherwise but I don’t believe that’s true that the “good times are over”. Very sad to hear you feel this way when I believe the park is doing better now than ever!

This is my local theme park. We live only 10ish mins away from it been going since I was one month old and I am 11 I highly recommend going in October there is something called the fall fest Adventureland. The fall fest is where 17 to 16 year olds get to be dressed up and they get in scary costumes and also it only happens at night but in the day everything is still all set up and you can go through like haunted houses and everything and during the fall fest I recommend riding the red Spinney ride/the dragon slayer you. would probably think it’s scary in line, but I promise you is not. It is the funniest freaking thing in the world. I love it’s probably like my favorite ride for some reason it’s less scarier than the green roller coaster/the monster I have been on every single ride there and for beginners here are some ages were recommended rides through in my opinion starting at 3 u can ride carousel shaken bacon, and tea cups shaken bacon 3-13 tea cups 3-80 carousel 3- any age starting at 5 Phoenix Derflinger flying Viking falling Viking tilt-a-wherl starting at 6 tornado outlaw and all the rest of the rides are good for all ages
