I mean music evolves, modern folk and hip hop doesn't sound the same as it did in 70's, 80's and the 90's. Nothing Is permanent. But I agree today's country music sadly did not evolve to be good.
I still remember my mom and Dad took me down Spencer Highway where they were filming Urban Cowboy and my mom was soooooooooooooo happy. The restaurant they are at was on shaver and Spencer and Uncle Bob's house is still in Deer Park where I live today. The gilleys warehouse was still up in the early 2000's. Not the bar but the big white warehouse behind it until they finally tore it down. Breaks my heart ❤️. I love and miss you Mommy
Johnny Lee, still love to listen to your old songs. It is what made me get threw my teenage days, lookin for love, loved your songs then and still love them now. YOUR THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!
Lyrics are excellent and Johnny Lee had belted them with full emotions and feelings, his best version among all others - i simply wish this vid would remain in site for good. Thank you
3-4-12 I just saw Johnny Lee last night and WOW what a fantastic show not only does he sound wonderful he is a fantastic entertainer!!!, We laughed at his jokes, sang with him on songs and I cried at the end when we all sang god bless America. It was just an amazing experience he makes you feel like you are his friend and he is glad to have you there. I would go again tomorrow if I could. if you get the opportunity to see him don't miss it.
I know the whole world knows that one line and used it too. I've said myself when I was trying to find true love. Ha, Johnnie Lee, my man. This will be around somewhere for all time. I love it.
Great song. Falling in love is not like being in love. The brain just works different, and knows the difference. It's always one-sided, very few are loved as much as they love. Sad facts are true sometimes. Very rarely do people love equally, but it does happen. Lucky you!
Johnny Lee ~ Lookin' For Love, Great Hit Still Sounds Beautiful Today Takes You Back To Those Dance Floor Days & Good Times, God Bless Thank You For Those ❤🎸::::::music::::::🎷:::::memories::::::💕
You're still the best friend I have ever had that made it BIG !!! Keep up the good work Johnny, Love ya, Friends forever, 'TREE' Anita Cosby-Nazzaro. . If you see this, call me !!#
I GREW UP WITH SONGS LIKE THIS, I AM A MINNESOTA BOY & GOIN' BACK AFTER I GET OFF PAROLE NEXT YEAR, HELL YEAH TO GET BACK TO MY DAUGHTER WHO WANTS HER DAD BACK, I LOVE U MY POOH BEAR!!!!!!!!!!
So sad that country music isnt like this anymore. I love listening to this and reminiscing about days past. Country music today is shameful and not appealing.
omg...this song brings up the best of memories...and a few sad ones. BUT...I did get to see him 2 days ago. He sounds great!!!! He definitely was a major hottie then. He is hilarious too. We had a great time. I even got to sit on his lap. To take a pic with him. I told him I wouldn't ...that I'd squish him. But he told me to SIT. So I did. He still looks pretty darn good ... *wink*. I never thought at 30 years ago...that I'd be doing that 30 years later. *wink wink*. I got goosebumps hearing him
I saw Johnny Lee at Florida Sunshine Opry, Eustis, Florida this past winter for the first time. He puts on a really great show! I loved it!!! Thanks for this mix of his songs.
Love this country music. It sounds, looks, feels and (who cares what people say) smells country. Even the country music that have country names aren't even close. That includes Florida/Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and any band founded after 2000
when you hear some of these old country songs, you know country is not country anymore
YES!!!
There is still great old time country coming out today, you just have to look a little harder for it!
Check out Heidi Hauge, Heather Myles, Darrel Armstrong, Shawn Diddy, Kirsten Dauggard, Lane Brody on RUclips.

what a beautiful , gorgeous song! This is the real country music!
One of the best country songs ever written and performed, period !
True
Some of the realest and honest lyrics from a male's perspective- and Johnny's voice shows humility and strength. He brought it home. Classic
the ironic part is the song was written by two women who were high school teachers from Bayou country
One of those songs you can listen to a million times and never get tired of it, truly brilliant
Country music these days really doesn’t even sound like country so when I listen to this is actual country
I mean music evolves, modern folk and hip hop doesn't sound the same as it did in 70's, 80's and the 90's. Nothing Is permanent. But I agree today's country music sadly did not evolve to be good.
wow this is such an iconic true song......some people just dont know about true love any more
Love fades away.....trust me....as you get older. Just the way it is. People lose their romantic side...
@@Anth230 Love and romance are two different things! If love fades "one" was never in love in the first place. Just my opinion.
Indeed
I’ve been looking for love for a long time back in the 80s I let her slip away I should’ve never here I am 56 years old kicking myself in the ass
