I remember him talking about the blind school and he still had a small amount of sight left and one if the staff hit him and he said after that he lost the last bit of sight he had.

The first time I remember hearing this song was in 1981. My late husband and I had just gotten married in June of 1980. I became a Ronnie Milsap fan then and there. I lost my husband of 41 years 3 months ago to a heart attack here at home. He'd gotten up in the middle of the night and I found him on the living room floor the next morning. Coroner estimated he'd been gone about 8 hours. I was.....and still am.....in shock! Anyone out there reading this that is a praying individual, please say a prayer for me!

His voice is immediately recognizeable. His whole life story is incredible. He has so many great songs and I never tire of hearing them. I play this back to back 10 times in a row and been listening to Ronnie Milsap for a long time and its still as beautiful as the first time I heard it.
Without question one of the best talents to ever grace a stage!
