She’s actually a pretty decent DPS on her own as well, of course not broken but her C1 is really all you need, since her elemental skill CD has a really short duration and it usually ends like a second after both arrows have been shot, it’s pretty fun honestly

She looks good if you only test one hit. In a full fight, though, she'll struggle. She only generates energy from her pressurized charged shot. Also her burst only reduces anemo res if the pulse hits, but positioning can make it difficult to have enemies be in the pulse range (especially since her burst move in triangular pattern).

ofc, you wouldn't have much energy problem with triple anemo and triple fav. take that out and her being the only support unit for anemo dps and the only fav user, you'll start runnning into her energy issues. her energy issue is so bad pre-c6. she can't even battery xiao who's very energy hungry but would benefit from her support since she's anemo support. i've seen showcases of people running her with 280% ER with fav bow and she can barely burst every rotation which is a huge part of her kit. it's really rough. she's barely fucntional at c0. unlike gorou who's functional at c0 and sara(c0) who's also clunky like faruzan, but at least she has electro resonance to help with her energy issues.

@@rinnies7474 I did exactly what you said and ran her with only Wanderer/Benny she is only fav user 270ER and she gets her ult pretty much all the time against Masanori ofc, idk if its worse on any other boss. E+fav proc, Wanderer Dps then down time you E+fav proc again is enough for me to get her ulti back up. The rotations are smooth and this is only with 3 party members the last slot could be a zhongli with another fav wep if you choose or whatever flex of your choice.

If you ever do Godmode Faruzan: TF Faruzan is actually really really fun and decently strong if you have C1. You don't need much ER at all because you can do 4 or 6 CA's per rotation, so you can run an Amos Bow

the er problem isnt really solved. she can only create particles once every 5.5 seconds, which severely limits her ability to self battery until c4, and limits her ability to battery until c6. ofc this is solved by having her appear more in a rotation, and ofc running fav on her (basically a requirement, i had c5 with 300 er when using fading twilight and she STILL had energy issues, now i can run 210 er with fav bow and nearly get it off cooldown)

Another atk/dmg/crit anemo would be fine (Think Itto + Gorou + Albedo, very efficient), something else to multiply the anemo dmg would also work, but otherwise I feel it doesn't make much sense to bring Faruzan. I guess a shield is nice if I'm gonna be spamming those charged shots and trying to angle my Jean E's downwards, so enemies don't scatter.

I am of the opinion that Faruzan final constellation might be the most powerful constellation in the game in how much of a difference it makes before it. It does so so much. That 40% CD bonus basically does not matter. It is an afterthought. It is not just the extra energy bonus either for her and the team. It is also the extra grouping and CC she provides on top that transforms her usability. In addiition to this her burst now also becomes compatible with the Tenacity set and it will also do a LOT more damage than before. C6 Faruzan is extremely powerful and easily matches the likes of the OG 4 stars.
Her power basically double from c5 to c6. All the constellations before are inconsequential. They totally overdid it in how much power they gave to her c6. It is too much. It has too many abilities that should have gone to her base kit or lower constellations.

Heck yes, took my lvl 75 half built Faruzan to the Scaramouche fight today since someone took out their lvl 90 Wanderer - the melee segments with her buff ended really quick. Other two players used a lvl 90 c0 Zhongli (why even bother?) and a lvl 90 Ganyu. In the open world I team her with Layla, Kokomi and Beidou and they just wipe the map. ATM I have a lvl 90 R5 Stringless on her and she's doing fine with it. Artifacts is 2 pc VV and 2 pc Emblem all with "decent" stats but I'm thinking, since I use her to swirl a lot, that I should give her a full set VV.

@@palaktrivedi2804 She works really well with Layla. My rotation is to use Layla's E & Q, then switch to Faruzan. If her Q is available I use that first to buff herself, then use her E to swirl CYRO. Switch to Koko for the jellyfish. By this point ... 😜 ... I even seen swirled mobs frozen in the air. Then switch to Beidou, do her E and it's usually a done deal .
Try to get some EM on her thru substats and she'll be insanely good. BTW, build up her Q, the initial hit multiplier is really high.

C2 doesn't increase the Anemo DMG buff/RES shred from 4 to 6 seconds, it says it increase the duration of the Dazzling Polyhedron (the shape that flies around, not the buff) BY 6 seconds (not TO 6 seconds), so her burst will has 6 secs longer that it does at C0/C1. Still useful, but far from what you said it was

Summarised, her ascension 4 passive buffs a single instance of anemo dmg every time her burst applies or refreshes the anemo dmg bonus buff on your active character, which means only 1 hit is buffed every 3 seconds. while burst is active.
Warning: rant about how weak a4 passive is in an impossible situation where no other buffs exist. The buff is strong, just not strong enough to focus on base atk. Get more er% over base atk so that Faruzan feels easier to use. You will still deal more consistent damage with er% sands over atk% on a dps build, though your damage per screenshot on her is not going to be as high.
If Faruzan is level 90 with harp and we ignore all other buffs and just focus on a4, it buffs a single instance of anemo dmg gets buffed for ~278 extra dmg; of course, this is before calculating your character's anemo dmg bonus, crit dmg multipliers, and the enemy's def and anemo resistance as there will be lots of variance, but the a4 buff would hover around a 1k to 1.8k extra damage, most of the time anyways. A low investment, fully built with 5* artifacts Heizou can deal at least 20k dmg in under 3 seconds. ~1.4k more damage is not noticeable at all. To be fair, it is a passive effect so it should be weak in general. We are comparing Faruzan a4 to other passives in terms of utility so it is totally unfair since we got some broken passives being compared to this.

By the way C2 DOES NOT make the 4s buffs last 6s,it literally makes the whole burst last 6s longer, her burst deploys The Dazzling Polywhatever thingy and the con literally makes the Polywhatever thingy stay 6s longer so its a 6s extension to the duration of her burst.
If it said that The Prayerful Wind and Perfidious Wind's Bale's effect is increased to 6s THEN it would've meant that it increases the buffs by or to 6s duration.
I would say C2 is probably a must its either you go up to C2 cuz both C1 and 2 are good or you go straight for C6 or keep at C0 she's not as bad as ppl make her to be imo but yeah i myself am having her at C1 and i'm hunting for C2 then i will stop, i rlly want that extra 6s of burst duration cuz that alone is rlly good its like 2-3 refreshes for the anemo res debuff and anemo dmg buff that a selfish anemo DPS that can't rlly be swapped too often like Wanderer and Xiao could definitley benefit from ALOT.

The problem with niche characters is if you don’t have the DPS character to go with them it means a useless 4 star on a banner, it’s getting to be a problem.

i didnt really care about her at first didnt even farmed anything for her but pulling scara in 160 pulls I got her at c6 and now I've seen what she can do, she is now lvl 90 and I will crown her burst
