Plus there's also Jean (who gets the ability as a talent) and Noelle ( who can pretty hard hard during her burst) have a similar "healer on field, healing the team" mechanic to add to the "healers with weak attacks that heal the team" list. Though all of those heal the entire team, while Mika's only heals on-field characters. Worth noting, though, that I believe each character has their own healing cooldown, which should be nice for co-op. Qiqi's burst is a bit of a different beast than Mika's, though. It goes on the enemies, which can cause issues based on enemy health, though is great against high hp enemies. Mika's goes on the character, which means it'll carry across waves.

Also moga, try using physical yoimiya for god mode as well, because not only the attack speed buffs but also because her normals are crowned she should do great dmg Edit : keep her shimenawa for 50% dmg boost, just use her E and spawn her in & out to loose the infusion as the dmg buff will continue to exist

Scaramouche works incredibly well with AtkSpeed, appreciates Mika's Heals, and gets 20% Crit Rate thanks to Mika's Cyro when utilized properly. Mika is incredibly useful for both Ayato and Scaramouche.
I think Mika isn't bad or unplayable before C6 he just doesn't have that many characters to fully take advantage of his support. I've tested some NA freeze teams with Ayato and Wanderer by pairing him with Rosaria for essentially ~27% free crit rate (47% for Wanderer) letting me build more crit damage and the attack speed Mika gives lets me squeeze in a significant amount of fully buffed NAs into the windows of a Noblesse buff, a Yun Jin buff, a Rosaria buff, a Mona buff, or a Kazuha buff. Then on the physical side I've found his buff just feels so much more significant on phys NA characters like Razor, Zhongli, or Fischl at least more than Eula who honestly already felt pretty complete without Mika imo. Mono-cryo/phys teams feel good with him too since he buffs phys damage instead of lowers phys res which has diminishing returns after a certain point. A dedicated NA physical character wouldn't be out of the realm of possible future characters but that character would benefit so much from Mika. A physical Ayato, Yoimiya, or Wanderer or 5star Razor is prime real estate for a character designed for physical. I think Mika was just released too early and feels underwhelming because he has so few characters to properly support not because his kit is poorly designed.

@@ei_ko I mean I’m not saying that she doesn’t work with him but because her NAs aren’t really the main focus of her overall kit in the same way that other NA characters like Ayato, Wanderer, Razor, etc for their respective main damage type the ATK speed doesn’t feel as impactful for her as it does on dedicated NA characters. Idk about the exact math but the overall performance improvement of Razor with/without Mika feels a lot more significant than Eula with/without Mika because Razor is almost purely NA-focused where Eula is more burst focused. So while Mika might seem underwhelming with Eula, the buffs he provides look much better on NA-focused characters who benefit from ATK SPD more but aside from Razor we just don’t really have an actual dedicated NA phys character.

Mika literally isn't usable with scaramouche.😭 he's a dedicated physical support,it's better to build other supports for ur scaramouche(even yunjin can be a better alternative than mika lol)

So far I'm using Mika on my Eula team. set up is Eula, Raiden, Mika, and Jean (C2) Raiden E, Miku ult then E, Jean to catch the particle's, Eula skill- burst combo I'm really enjoying the team so far, i'm sure I could play it more optimally but that will just take some time to iron out the kinks.
Mika is an Physical AND AtkSpeed Buffer, therefore a character like Wanderer who greatly appreciates AtkSpeed is going to like Mika. Mika also provides Cyro, therefore granting 20% Crit Rate buff for Wanderer when utilized properly to proc the buff. Mika is incredibly good with both Ayato and Wanderer.
I would be curious to see what someone with c6 mika/yunjin/fischl could do with a physical fish build. it might be RSI simulator but it woul be funny to look at.

Physical being so niche by definition I think Mika's main role is healer that buffs aspd. 20% aspd bonus is great for fast attacking units like Yoimiya or Wanderer. Not only it adds to their own damage, it speeds up elemental reactions they trigger too because of faster reaching the 3-hit threshold. I would even guess his physical support is intended rather for new players in early game than for clearing Abyss floor 12.
What I like about Mika is that his buff is in his skill, especially the c6 crit damage buff. Quite accessible, and not requiring him to get his burst every rotation.
I actually appreciate how straightforward building him is. You don't need to stack atk like kujou or shenhe, just level talents and use hp/er pieces. His buffs are a bit underwhelming but he seems pretty solid
I think moga didnt say eula is good for him on purpose since He doesnt Like playing her but i think Hes best suiting for eula If you could try that someday that would be really cool.
He would be really good if we had a off field phys sub dps that snapshots so we could pair Eula, him, this character and Raiden/Fischl/Lisa for a good phys team
well, he is usable, nonetheless he's not a better option than other supports for physical teams which I'm really sad about, cuz I can't afford to C6 him
if you tap the skill on one enemy the phys buff doesn't count,when you tap you need to pierce and the first target never counts,so in single target tapping never counts the one target.
He is definitely not bad, but as the first dedicated support for physical dmg dealers, he seems kind off underwhelming. His atk-speed buff is definitely where he shines, but both his heal and physical buff are a little meh. Requiring 3-4 enemies to get the full stacks is a dumb mechanic as far as I am concerned. From the abyss perspective, this choice doesn't really help putting physical damage dealers (or rather Eula, sry wolfboy gang) more into consideration either, as the most help you'll need will probably be on F12 with boss floors and those that spawn elite enemies in 1 or 2 unit intervals. And his heal, as seen here with what can be considered a normal support build, is pretty weak. 1,4k every 2-2,5sec. Sure, his focus is on dmg buffing, but that amount of healing over time is just bad, so you probably will still need characters like Zhongli or Diona He feels more like Yun Jin. Not terrible to have in teams that rely on normal attacks, but usually not the best choice. Although part of that is definitely MiHoyo's fault, as characters that work well with atk-speed buffs are usually in need of shields/interruption res
As far as heal goes, keep in mind a few factors. First, it'll get better with more talent levels. Second, Moga has him geared wrong, with triple HP. You'd want 2x hp, 1x HB. Third, the character is an hp scaler, and this version isn't 90. I expect at "god mode" levels, with an HB circlet, he'll heal at about the same level of 3x EM Kuki, which is perfectly adequate.
@@Axterix13 Sure, the healing can get better. However, the duration of the status is 15 seconds, a C0 Mika can only heal every 2,5 seconds, with C1 and lv 8 skill every 2 seconds. So at get 6 ticks when you can attack constantly, at best you get 7. Even if the healing gets up to a comfortable 2500 per tick (which I am not even sure you can get without going full on double healing set), it still needs you to attack during these intervals. Other healers, like Bennett, Diona, Kuki and Kokonut usually heal in ~1 second Intervalls and without additional requirements. It's not a big deal breaker, of course since he is as I said more meant to buff physical damage output, and I haven't considered the initial heal Mika gives, but in terms of healing it is one of the worse ones in terms of its mechanic
@@Shadowxx98 At skill level 12, with 25.6k hp and a healing circlet, you should be barely over 2500. Given 12506 base hp at 90 and a 24% hp from ascension bonuses, he can easily have that level of hp, and will likely have quite a bit more, even at low investment/effort. No set bonuses needed. Most of the other healers don't heal at 1s intervals. 1.5s is about as fast as it gets for the non-active healing stuff. Kuki, for example, is 1.5s. Most of them do have additional requirements. Leave Benny's circle and see how much he heals you. Overall, though, if maximizing the amount of healing mattered, we'd all be playing Qiqi. Or rather, all of you would also be playing Qiqi, since I do like to use that little zombie ;) What matters is having enough healing, and what else the character brings to the team. The value of that I'm not going to comment on here, as I'm only focusing on the healing side in this comment. And yeah, that initial heal is also a big help, especially since it hits off-field teammates, which those healers you mention don't (though Kokomi can if she stays on field to attack, of course). I know that much from playing Sayu. It looks to be 5x the size of the on-field ticks, and front-loaded.
I lost 50 50 to Diluc and istg I receive a single standard fate from bp and got another Diluc in the same 5min when I really needed lost prayers, still no cryo queen just Diluc everywhere
My big problem with Mika is that I already have C6 Yun Jin who is just vastly superior to Mika as a normal attack buffer in every measurable way. Pretty sure even my C1 Candace would outclass him in most, if not all scenarios that purely involve normal attack spam. So his only value to me is the physical damage amp, which to be honest he doesn't even do very well until C6 because of situational and unreliable his 'detector stacks' are.

I really like atk speed considering my favorite mains are Scara and Ayato (I also have Yoi) but his kit is overall so paltry I’m not interested in getting him or building him. Atk speed is nice and healing is nice but that’s … it?!
Mika honestly is a really good unit for scaramouche, since scara + faruzan + bennet makes his normals do like 25k+ and uh with the extra 20% cr from mika and the attack speed would be really good for him (scara's a1 passive, which makes my stats go from 65-234 ti 85-234 (on widsith) which is like really good I'll say.

Yoimiya main DD, Yelan buffer and hydro applicator (vape), Zhong Li shielder, Mika ATK speed buffer and healer. Pretty decent team, but Bennet is better there.
tbh it's just to do events and ley lines, i got mika to lv.90 a day after release day and i didn't even focus on the level up materials bc i focused more on the wenut and the wolfhooks do remember tho!! lv.90 isn't necessary at all i just maxed out mika bc he's my favorite

Not only it adds to their own damage, it speeds up elemental reactions they trigger too because of faster reaching the 3-hit threshold. I would even guess his physical support is intended rather for new players in early game than for clearing Abyss floor 12.

What I like about Mika is that his buff is in his skill, especially the c6 crit damage buff. Quite accessible, and not requiring him to get his burst every rotation.
I think a mika, razor, yunjin c6 and jean c2 might be wild for dishing out attacks super quickly

I actually appreciate how straightforward building him is. You don't need to stack atk like kujou or shenhe, just level talents and use hp/er pieces. His buffs are a bit underwhelming but he seems pretty solid

if you tap the skill on one enemy the phys buff doesn't count,when you tap you need to pierce and the first target never counts,so in single target tapping never counts the one target.
He is definitely not bad, but as the first dedicated support for physical dmg dealers, he seems kind off underwhelming.
His atk-speed buff is definitely where he shines, but both his heal and physical buff are a little meh.
Requiring 3-4 enemies to get the full stacks is a dumb mechanic as far as I am concerned. From the abyss perspective, this choice doesn't really help putting physical damage dealers (or rather Eula, sry wolfboy gang) more into consideration either, as the most help you'll need will probably be on F12 with boss floors and those that spawn elite enemies in 1 or 2 unit intervals.
And his heal, as seen here with what can be considered a normal support build, is pretty weak. 1,4k every 2-2,5sec.
Sure, his focus is on dmg buffing, but that amount of healing over time is just bad, so you probably will still need characters like Zhongli or Diona
He feels more like Yun Jin. Not terrible to have in teams that rely on normal attacks, but usually not the best choice.
Although part of that is definitely MiHoyo's fault, as characters that work well with atk-speed buffs are usually in need of shields/interruption res
As far as heal goes, keep in mind a few factors. First, it'll get better with more talent levels. Second, Moga has him geared wrong, with triple HP. You'd want 2x hp, 1x HB. Third, the character is an hp scaler, and this version isn't 90. I expect at "god mode" levels, with an HB circlet, he'll heal at about the same level of 3x EM Kuki, which is perfectly adequate.

However, the duration of the status is 15 seconds, a C0 Mika can only heal every 2,5 seconds, with C1 and lv 8 skill every 2 seconds. So at get 6 ticks when you can attack constantly, at best you get 7.
Even if the healing gets up to a comfortable 2500 per tick (which I am not even sure you can get without going full on double healing set), it still needs you to attack during these intervals. Other healers, like Bennett, Diona, Kuki and Kokonut usually heal in ~1 second Intervalls and without additional requirements.
It's not a big deal breaker, of course since he is as I said more meant to buff physical damage output, and I haven't considered the initial heal Mika gives, but in terms of healing it is one of the worse ones in terms of its mechanic
@@Shadowxx98 At skill level 12, with 25.6k hp and a healing circlet, you should be barely over 2500. Given 12506 base hp at 90 and a 24% hp from ascension bonuses, he can easily have that level of hp, and will likely have quite a bit more, even at low investment/effort. No set bonuses needed.
Most of the other healers don't heal at 1s intervals. 1.5s is about as fast as it gets for the non-active healing stuff. Kuki, for example, is 1.5s. Most of them do have additional requirements. Leave Benny's circle and see how much he heals you. Overall, though, if maximizing the amount of healing mattered, we'd all be playing Qiqi. Or rather, all of you would also be playing Qiqi, since I do like to use that little zombie ;) What matters is having enough healing, and what else the character brings to the team. The value of that I'm not going to comment on here, as I'm only focusing on the healing side in this comment.
And yeah, that initial heal is also a big help, especially since it hits off-field teammates, which those healers you mention don't (though Kokomi can if she stays on field to attack, of course). I know that much from playing Sayu. It looks to be 5x the size of the on-field ticks, and front-loaded.

I lost 50 50 to Diluc and istg I receive a single standard fate from bp and got another Diluc in the same 5min when I really needed lost prayers, still no cryo queen just Diluc everywhere
My big problem with Mika is that I already have C6 Yun Jin who is just vastly superior to Mika as a normal attack buffer in every measurable way. Pretty sure even my C1 Candace would outclass him in most, if not all scenarios that purely involve normal attack spam.
So his only value to me is the physical damage amp, which to be honest he doesn't even do very well until C6 because of situational and unreliable his 'detector stacks' are.
Mika seems to me like an early AR character.
At early ar physical seems more viable, and a healer+physical boost is very interesting!

Mika honestly is a really good unit for scaramouche, since scara + faruzan + bennet makes his normals do like 25k+ and uh with the extra 20% cr from mika and the attack speed would be really good for him (scara's a1 passive, which makes my stats go from 65-234 ti 85-234 (on widsith) which is like really good I'll say.
