👍 from a fellow guy with mustache!
I have to agree, a truly fantastic moustache!
🤣🤣
It's freakin unbelievable how underrated you are, given the amount of work you put in to make such top-notch quality videos. You definitely deserve a larger audience.
I second that very heartily
@@Tetters100 Boom, I third that.
Now he's almost at 500k subs
Such a good video man! Keep it up!
never thought your studio would be that tight, the setup you made is so damn space efficient
Of all the RUclips tech channels I watch, this is the one with the best background of all
Amazing tip with the IKEA blinds! I've got a slightly bigger bedroom and I feel my a-roll just didn't look quite right.. I'm gonna take some inspiration from this 🔥🔥🔥

great video. that helped me a lot.
This is great. My wife has been meaning to start a YT channel and we have two kids so as you said, we can’t just set things up in the living room. Fantastic video, my friend. Stay safe and cheers from Singapore.
This video is AMAZINGLY USEFUL. Thank you! ❤
Clear and consumable advice. Thank you!!!
You've done so well holy hell. What an inspiration!

I love what you did with your tiny space!
I love this , great quality on camera , perfect demo. Amazing video!
Great vid/tips. Always a struggle in a small room so it's interesting to see how others have approached the setup 👍
Awesome video. Thanks for the tips.
Just grateful you put this up. We all feel like we need a large Studio to make a video rather then make a studio anywhere. Thank you.
Super affordable options and great video thanks.
This is a great, inspiring video Sam! Thanks for the share! 😁👍🏾
I thought I was just gonna simply make content; had no idea I would be going late into the evening learning about lighting techniques. Thanks for all the ideas I was almost at a loss on how to proceed with filming in a small space.
I love the look you've got. Really taught me a few things as I'm such a noob. Thank you!
I totally enjoyed it. Merci beaucoup!
Looks great!!

Thanks Man it was a Great Video and really helpful.
Very polished indeed, mate. Well done!
Great video man, thanks for the inspiration!
Great tips! Thanks!
Hey Sam, this was very helpful! I was always considering that aperture light but now this just gives me all the more reason to do so!
Also, to hear a fellow Aussie accent helped me connect with what you were saying more!
Will go through your other stuff and subscribe :)
Honestly great one
You have made it very simple and pro
Keep it up mate x
Just discovered this video and your top notch production values! Have subscribed... cheers from Adelaide!
awesome video so in depth!
Awesome video! Those blinds we're a great idea, can't seems to find them anymore but will look for something similar :)
S.B., DUDE, you're a natural presenter. You're articulate, concise, no, "uh's, and ahs". Brilliant! Thanks for the small room hack. Heya, one question: (1) Can one do the same with just a plain white wall? I've purchased the IKEA pull-down you mentioned (great idea btw) and Amazon afforded me a set of Mount Dog stands that I've yet to open. Then I was thinking, do I really need the backdrop if I have about 120 x 170 cm back wall? Will the light-cast be different as it's a wall vs material? Okay, that's two questions. Shout back...
Thanks for the love! I've definitely found using a wall is very different from using the material, because of the way the light is absorbed. That said, darker wall colours can work well if you've used matte paint or something similar! Hope that helps 👍🏻
Really love the quality of your videos :)
Very good. Looks great
👍from Portugal.
Still love this setup Sam! I can’t wait to setup my new studio!
Got me hooked Thanks for the great ideas i have the room but i don't have the idea's Thanks!

You’ve got a great attention to detail geez
Nice job man, what nice color grading as well = )~
Great video, can see you put a lot of effort in your videos! Subbed!
Cool video thanks for sharing
woooow Thanks for the inspiration sam :)
You really should have more subscribers! The quality of your content is top notch and deserves to be viewed by way more people!
Cheers mate!
Bro, that first shot with the blinds open looked really good.
Love these videos !!! They help me so much on my channel!!!
Awsome 👌👌
Goood quality!!!!
Great work. I’m dealing with some window issues now myself because of noise, lighting, and shot framing. Did you ever think of covering the window with art or a sound panel? I haven’t decided how to handle my 7 windows. I like the natural light when I’m not shooting, so I don’t want to cover them permanently.
One thing I could highly recommend for light spill from your small lights is Matt black cinefoil. It isn’t cheap, but it can last forever if you reuse it.
I was waiting for you to show the purple big background, I didn't knew the color is from the light 😅🤦♂️🤩
I got a really big place to live and create my dream youtube setup but I have to downside my living space because of this covid 19. You inspired me a lot for a tiny space I’m gonna move into. Thank you
Thanks!!!
this is a good video that gave me creative lighting ideas for other things too! Thanks man! just found this channel today! #liked #commented #subscribed
How do you combat audio bouncing off the walls in a tiny room?
Great video, Sam! You’ve given me ideas to consider as I try and revamp my space. Cheers!
You definitely need more subs.
dude i came from your current upgarded studio, its nice buddy keep rocking
Nice use of space bud!
How you are achieving such a audio, plz guide
You can get a honeycomb grid for the softbox which will likely negate the need for a rudimentary flag solution. Nice work.
Awesome video man, thanks! I'm struggling exactly with that too - two children in the house, my recording space is limited! Do you using any ring light and, if yes, in which situation?
Hey Sam I think you have the most fantastic cinematic and excellent quality videos out there. Also i think that you should upgrade to the phone reviews, tech reviews and app as always reviews bcs you are well informed and great explainer. In my opinion you should reach millions of subscribers. Respect and keep up the fantastic work. Also home screen setups fantastic!!
Inspiring. I have a tiny office too.
Nice! I take a similar approach with the 50mm. I like that roll down back drop for sure!
Do you have any of those fan issues with the SL60W?
Great, Sam! Just a tip on the lighting on the other side of your face, let's make it a little more exposed since shadow is so much visible. :)
Whoa. Great minds think alike...
and sometimes I think like those great minds.
Nice video, if it wasn't for this video I would've continued thinking that the backdrop was some sort of software trick to project that neo colour light 😂
that ikea thing!!!
Hey Sam great video! Kinda off topic but I was wondering if I could send you a screenshot of my current home screen setup and maybe get some suggestions on how to make it more clean?
Thanks for this! I appreciate this.. By the way.. What keeps you consistent in posting RUclips videos?
Great video! What are your premiere sequence settings?
I'm working with a room that is basically 8 feet by maybe 10. :D It's like an all seasons room, except the last owners bricked up the large windows. It's weird.
Great thank you. How do you make the purple background color please? Which tool can i buy? ;)
On the behalf of my small retro game room, i thank you sir.
what do you suggest for mustache care and management?
"Oh cool. Finally a video on how to turn your bedroom into a studio."
Starts with empty bedroom.
"Nevermind."
How about wallmounting the led on the left? would give you a bit more space and angle to work with...
Does Gerald undone know? 😂
Why not using the light coming from the window ?
Hell yeah I found a Aussie!
ULTRAWIDE! ULTRAWIDE! ULTRAWIDE! ULTRAWIDE!
Nice info, I'm in a very similar situation. Have you considered putting a reflector opposite your key light to fill in some of that shadow on your face?
Nah I'm a sucker for the super contrasty look! I could always just move my key light around closer to the camera if I wanted less contrast.
