- Kevin Larson was on a jog in the early morning hours of Dec. 13, 2023. It was chilly and foggy when he jogged through a residential Tacoma neighborhood near his home and was struck by what he describes as felt like a rake. He soon realized a barred owl had deemed him prey and was repeatedly swooping down at him.

i know his son because he texted me that "my dad got attacked by a owl"
An Osprey swooped me yesterday in The Villages Florida.
That owl happens to live in my homeboys tree and has attacked several people coming an going from the house off of 43 in Tacoma WA
The owl is most likely protecting its nest from a perceived threat.. It's their world. we're just living in it.
I have heard of crows attacking.
Ist time to hear about an owl.
Glad he had his phone and got rescued. But..I do not blame the people in the house these days. I guess they did not run him off when he likely said he was calling his wife.
