Great video Joe! Best thing about fishing is that you’re always learning, you’ll never master everything and that’s the beauty of watching all these videos and tutorials on RUclips. 👏👏
This is very much Mr Wotton's and Mr Kerry's 'cup of tea'....always found Jon Arthurs video's good for river knowledge for future outings. I enjoy a day long range hybrid feeder fishing. A long stem and stiffer tip is always helpful for a long chuck.
Let me give you an angle on method fishing - i call it paste method - 14 hook, banded 6 mm. sprinkle a little gb in the mould - then put the paste (quite firm) covered hook and banded pellet on top then cover with micros mould and cast - the gb at the top of the mould (put in first) is to stop the paste sticking in the mould and messing up the moulded method. You can do this with any size hook and banded pellet or even corn etc AWESOME carp LOVE it - so few people do it...!
He does it again, another great little watch there Joe. How about doing a canal video as part of the "out of my comfort zone" series...... or on a river for chub and big perch?
As you say Joe, good experience. Daunting at first but is a confidennce thing, after a few sessions im sure you will crack it especially on pepperami 😊
Very interesting Joe, I'm looking forward to watching your matches, Mr Vials should be able to give you some good tips. He's a bit good with a feeder 😊
All credit to you for not editing out your crack off and broken tip. It happens to everyone at some point. I love fishing Boddington, it's an incredibly daunting venue if you're not used to open water😂
Great video Joe See the XL stem with flights, I can see how it works in the air when flying after a cast But How does it behave going down through the water??? I always imagine the flights would make it nose dive perpendicular to the bottom and always fear it might be stood up in silted bottomed waters ??? Then if you tighten up to flatten it off then maybe it ends up upside down???
i think itd be great for nufish to produce a larger landing net. theres an obvious need for them. i had to buy mine from another brand. carp growing so quickly at every venue i go. a huge size and weight increase
The landing net is something that could be usefull for my chub fishing Joe. Let me know about cost please if they come out. The extra depth is brilliant for us chub anglers as you say for resting fish in the margins.
Joe as always enjoyed your vid. Would you not try the Medusa method you recently showed us, is it because the distance you are fishing at would make it impossible.
brilliant joe ,looking forward to watching the live match ,nice one
Thanks for watching
Good to see a video where things don't go smoothly. Makes it more relatable for average anglers like myself.
Glad you enjoyed it

Absolutely!
Great film again. Love your honesty and modesty, Joe. And I, for one, would definitely be interested in a landing net head like that one!
Thanks Patrick

Fantastic honest film joe and personally I think you’re being hard on yourself,a 95 mtr cast is a v long way. Best of luck in your matches 🤞🤞
Thanks 👍

@MatchFishingFilms I did it to my 9ft ninja , first outing ! Last time I'll use a .5oz tip!!!
Have you tried Naseby Reservoir Joe. Just off J2 off A14.
Lubie oglądać twoje filmy.Pozdrowienia z Polski🇵🇱🙂
Thanks for watching. I hope to visit Poland again one day I have spent some great times in your fantastic country 🇵🇱
Great video Joe
See the XL stem with flights, I can see how it works in the air when flying after a cast
But
How does it behave going down through the water???
I always imagine the flights would make it nose dive perpendicular to the bottom and always fear it might be stood up in silted bottomed waters ???

We tested them underwater style and never found a problem 👍🏻
i think itd be great for nufish to produce a larger landing net. theres an obvious need for them. i had to buy mine from another brand. carp growing so quickly at every venue i go. a huge size and weight increase
Yes especially these specialised venues. I think that ones a touch deep but something like that would be ideal
The landing net is something that could be usefull for my chub fishing Joe. Let me know about cost please if they come out. The extra depth is brilliant for us chub anglers as you say for resting fish in the margins.
Yea I had them made for that purpose without them being a huge barbel style frame 👍🏻
@@MatchFishingFilmsof the landing net rimwhat’s the diameter
Hi. Joe, great video asusual, would you consider doing one on how you tie your shock leader to your main line..
Yes definitely
Thank you for a great video.
Did you use measuring sticks? How did you know it was 63 m?
Yes measuring sticks
Joe as always enjoyed your vid. Would you not try the Medusa method you recently showed us, is it because the distance you are fishing at would make it impossible.
I’m sure there is a way. Possibly using much larger leads. I may try it short in my match next week
Very nice video Joe 👏👏👏👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice one again. Does the baggin wag still work on there?
Not sure to be honest
Hi ya joe thanks for a great video. But what tip do you have.
I started with a 3oz tip but I’ve upped that now
Very good that ....When's a match .. I guess it's feeder only matches ?
@@simurray7180 I’m here now 👍🏻

Looks like a Teal at a glance 🦆
🦆
sorry joe, one more question mate......were you using a 3oz tip???
4oz
Defo for net
I always find fishing is always tough in foggy conditions ,don't you.
We certainly seem to have a spell of high pressure still
Foggy days at the moment
If you’re not cracking the odd one off you’re not trying hard enough
Or just bad at casting 😂😂😂
be careful with your flavouring it like viniger on your chips to much is not nice ive done carp and match fishing and thats what ive found
👍🏻
