    I have a 3 yr old GR1 26l and i use it 5 days a week . Looks and feels new but it is broken in perfectly. Ziopers are smooth, straps fit me perfectly. Got a sternum strap as well. And its black camo too. It did take awhile to break in though to get the stiffness out. But now it's perfect.

      They definitely age well. I think a lot of people don't understand how a bag like this needs to be broken in

    Really great review! I own 3 GoRucks at the moment. A 26L Gr2 500d, a 26L Gr1 1000d and a 15L 500d bullet. I’ve owned the 26L GR1 for a few years and it’s nicely broken in. Feels like a worn in baseball glove. I like how you gave the brand and the bag respect for its heritage. They definitely use a different 1000d than any other bag I’ve owned. It’s way more aggressive. Same with the 500d, the Gr2 feels softer than the 500d bullet. I hope they begin to bled some of recent changes to revamp the line. I like the top quick access in the heritage bag and I really love the 500D they used in the 26L Gr2.

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  2 года назад

      100% agreed. It's like 1000D on steroids :D I'd love to test out a heritage bag. I just love the idea of that waxed canvas material getting it's own patina over time. I think I'm going to grab a Rucker 3.0 next. I'd like to take it out of it's hardcore rucking safe zone and see just how well it works for EDC. Having handles all around the pack is a massive advantage to me in my day to day life, and I was also surprised just how easy a laptop slid into the ruck sleeve in the GR1... Not to mention the lighter material on the back and straps. I think the GR1 2.0 (if or when it happens) definitely needs to adopt some of the other improvements. Thanks for watching Nick. I hope you're safe and well wherever in the world you find yourself 👍

    Hello.
    Once again, one of the best video offered on this bag.
    An objective opinion, a top presentation.
    I really like this bag, probably the Grail of bags in any case in urban areas.
    Too bad that here in France it is very complicated to get it.
    Thank you so much for this set.

      HI Green Spider. Thanks you, I really appreciate your kind words. It is a shame it's difficult to get these outside of the US. You should definitely try Beaver Fit to see if they'll post to France, you're just over the sea after all 😀 and one of our closest neighbours... Or try Rogue as they're in Belgium so you wouldn't have to worry about taxes - www.rogueeurope.eu/bodyweight-gymnastics/body-weight/rucking

    I've had the original 26L GR1 for 12 years, used daily - as EDC and travel bag. Cordura has worn through at the bottom corners (patched/glued with some tougher Cordura) and had laptop compartment zip replaced (broke). Other than that it is still going strong. Never had an urge to look for alternatives.

Quite impressed! One slight word of warning , I’ve lost two patches from the arm now as when I take my backpack off the straps get caught on the patch and pull it off quite easily and you don’t notice at the time. The Velcro seems a little weak to me. Anyway just thought I’d give you the heads up on that

All I've found from the diverse people from the US is kindness and friendship. Theres bad people all around around the world... It's such a shame the world media concentrates on the bad.
