Check out Evergoods CPL 28 or 24L version 2. however.. fast access more to those who are use to down from back to front on the left. Functionality can par with this GR backpack. Simple but sufficient organization compartments and pockets easy to access. Clamshelf opening to main compartment suitable for daily carry to work, gym and 1 to 2 day travel compartment with sleek design
I’m more of a CHZ guy. I like the CPL, but the lack of water bottle pockets always made me stay away from it. I do want to give it a whirl, burning my seem one for a steal of a deal. It’s not a pack I really want, so I’m not goin to grab one brand new. The GR1 is just a whole different pack. And honestly a sleeper hit for me. I never thought I would be so into the GR1 as I am.
@@jeffgrantMEDIA What attract me to the Evergoods CPL are the side access when I sling the back down from back carry to side when I wants to reach into either the side access or the main compartment to grab or quickly keep my phone or pass, or my rain coat.. it is make for left access when sling down and I am the left access guy 😂.. also the space in the laptop compartment.. beautiful ❤️. Yes agree the lack of water bottle compartment was a disappointment. Still experimenting on ways to attach my yeti bottle externally. 😃🤔
@@LimWJ2023 I used my MPL30 as an EDC for a while. It has the same vertical zip pocket on the front of the bag as the CPL. While I used it and found it handy, I’m right handed and sling the bag off my right shoulder. So I couldn’t utilize it as designed. I’m guessing I’min the minority with the way I sling the bag off. As they Evergoods as a TON of design experience between them. I was looking out for a CPL V1 deal when the V2 dropped. But nothing to make me pull the trigger. It’s a bag I keep an eye out for a deal on….. when I’m not broke that is. Haha
@@jeffgrantMEDIA I guess rainmaker or Genesis from Greenroom 136 are easy to access as the quick access pockets can be customized either on the left or right as our own request and just watch your review on the rainmaker VX42.. very tempting to customized a middle size one just for my daily work.😁🤤😍
The weave should all be the same. I really think it’s the dye used on the fabric. It’s not terrible, but compared to my black Rucker and my nave GR1 it is noticeable.

Hi regarding the fit for the GR1s, is it alright I ask how tall you are?
I am 5,9”. At the time of filming I was like 170-175 lbs.
All my MCB packs feel more scratchy than regular Cordura. Assuming it's prob how it's woven and dyed
