Nice to see the few establishments still around at Yaowarat after all these years. I was there 10 years ago, and remember the Kway chap, pork satay and the black sesame rice balls in sweet ginger soup. I also remember a famous place that sell toast with different spreads and of course, the green mango with the dried shrimp dipping sauce….good memories

Love your Dad!! I also would feel put off half cooked oysters, as a chef myself it just seems too risky unless they were freshly shucked in front of me. Happy Travels
Very good point! We do love oysters but can't be sure of the food handling of them in the street stalls. However, I did end up eating most of that rice soup because it was delicious and I was totally fine 😉
Love a good street food video! Thank you for taking us along and seeing some of the foods we’ve never heard of😍🤗 We’ve always been curious about birds nest soup 😅 looks interesting hehe!
Wow, whatever you guys were eating looks so good and tempting. Miss Chinatown so much. Apparently there is also a famous stall selling fried crab fish cake, it is also one of the must have when you visit Chinatown in the evening. Crab meat overload on every bites.
Hiya Flora and Note, I have seen this noodle place a few times recently. And it always seems to have a cue outside. Your dad is so funny. Love these food tours. So good to see all the places. Not a good time to watch a 10.30pm. I am hungry now. 😁Thank you for the tour around. Great video. Have a lovely week.
Please check Banthat Thong Rd. in Samyan area. Another great street food area. Try pork satay Nai Song (หมูสะเต๊ะนายซ้ง), Jay Oh (ร้านเจ๊โอว), dessert at Jay Wan (เจ้วรรณเต้าฮวยน้ำขิง). Even Somboon Pochana (สมบูรณ์โภชนา), try thie signature menu, Stir Fried Crab with Curry Powder (เนื้อปูผัดผงกะหรี่).
Keep up the good work guys luv y’all Chanel all ready after 2clips it making me miss home so much bkk city I used to took the whole family there every-time we go back home from state !!!
A video that smells incredibly good 😆 Flora, even if it's called Chinatown, I bet it must be very different than the food you could find on a street market in Hong-Kong, not even mentioning the Chinatowns in Canada? And also another question, does Note have an accent when he speaks Thai? Are they different accents in the different part of Thailand?
I miss Hong Kong street food so much too, but yes it is very different from what we can find in Bangkok's Chinatown. Thai street food has more variety though and lots of sour, spicy and more pungent flavours. There are different accents in Thailand, for example the Southern accent is very strong and it is actually quite hard for Note to understand too. Note said he doesn't really have an accent, but maybe his choice of words aren't very "local Thai" so people can tell that he's maybe lived abroad or something.
Those skewers and the peanut satay sauce looked absolutely amazing 😍 all 6h$ good there looks so delicious, I need to make sure Ii experience this one day.
I was just there eating that soup 2 days ago. So good with a nice Spicy kick. The broth flavor is very very similar to the "Vietnamese Duck soup Noodles with bamboo shoots". It has that spicy delicious taste. An i sat exactly where you both sat. How ironic lol😋🙏
