I love this. Avery has always had an interesting delivery. At first to my ears, and I only heard it spoken, it was harsh and almost difficult to listen to. Like you wanted to correct him... But man. I dig it so much. First listen to his singing. Love this man.
I first saw him as Hawk in Spencer for Hire then in the syndication series of Hawk as Hawk he also was in a movie I with Arnie and Jim Belushi Red Heat it was only a small part but yea, Then yes as Captain Sisco in DS9 but I never knew he sang till I came across this clip, I love his deep tone and his delivery is exemplary.

He is very good and his piano playing is good, but he isn't really staying in the beat and that makes it amateurish. It's okay to sing rubato for part of the time, not the whole time.
