I went for a ride in that particular T-type several years ago - shortly after its current owner bought it - and the horsepower is just unreal. Unbelievable. Paved back road near the next town to the south, going some kind of normal speed, floor it and SPIN THE TIRES??!!! Zero to 100mph in what felt like about two seconds, what I imagine being shot from a cannon feels like. Utterly insane. I'm glad you got a chance to drive it, greatly appreciate all the work you've done to bring pieces of that guy's collection back to life, and wish you all the best in NC.
Chevy guys eventually came around, there was a GNX parked in the Bowling Green Corvette museum one summer a few years ago. Respect. Had a 1984 T-type, and an 86 like this one and a few 87 GNs. Sold the last one in 1999, wish I had it back about oh, 10 times a day.
I know how that feels...I once had an 86 Dodge charger Shelby that I've been trying to find for years after I was dumb enough to sell it lol... Thanks for watching!
Also the 25 anniversary trans am had the same 3.8 buck turbo in 1989 yoyr so right about cheverolet protecting the image and sales of the corvette great video man
Love the regal t type and the last 87 regal turbo T ive seen the regal t types and Ts with the regal Limited option with pillow bench seats and a colum shifter from the factory or the matching colored bucket seats and console shiter you can take a sleeper regal to a pta meeting and then to the drag strip
I did in a RUclips short from way back but as I was just borrowing it for the video and the turbo was starting to go bad on it... I was trying to be respectful of it but not turn down the chance to do a video on it...I appreciate you watching.. Thank you!
Your montes supercharged 3800 sounds so much like the older 3.8 231 bucks turbo 6 so awesome love your custom made sleeper monte
