Steff I was sick with the same thing last week, I hope you are feeling better! And to any new subs, how impressive is this woman?! She is under the weather and still puts out this professional foundation review. Her artistic talent especially shines through with her eye shadow reviews! She could do makeup for runway shows. But she represents the majority of us, working hard all day at our jobs but loves makeup and thinks it is fun. So she gifts us with her channel ❤ It’s a great community!

I just feel that if I'm paying $40+ on a foundation, it has to get me through a full work day. I have $14 foundations that can do that so there's no excuse why higher end brands can't. Thanks for the review & saving me money. I hope you're feeling better now.
May I ask what foundation that is? I’m combo oily and it’s hard finding something that last more than 6 hours on me. I prime and set and still struggle.

@@melanieberdecia4511 I have normal skin so this may or may not help you, but I love L'Oreal true match & the Catrice tru skin foundations. Once set, they'll last me 10-12 hours.
Agreed! I think any foundation should last 10 hours. I mean the typical work day is 8. You need application time and drive time so 10 hours at least for foundation for me.
Apart from being a foundation that isn't suitable for my dry skin , this isn't a foundation I'd want to purchase if my skin was oily. On day one it didn't look good at the 4hr stage, which isn't too great!
The colour is spot on!! The best way to check if the shade is right, is to swatch it on the neck - if you had tried doing this with that foundation, I honestly think it would have been undetectable! The shade match is so good 👍

Sale time is good! Or try to get a sample when it goes to stores. They usually give enough for 2 applications.

I love the packaging with this foundation! I had oily skin until I hit 30 and now I have more of a normal skin type. Im finding that as I get older a medium coverage foundation looks best, with concealer and powder but I might pick this up to try

I’ve been waiting for YOUR review specifically for this foundation and now I’m sad lol! I was so excited for it! I was kinda expecting it to be holy grail status. I will still get it bc I love kvd. Been a fan for many years! I’m happy to see the brand continue on without Kat but honestly everything just seems to be lacking without her 😬. Other reviews I’ve seen have only had good things to say but it’s only been about 3 or 4 so like with any makeup you kinda have to decide for yourself. That being said, your reviews are always super helpful and thorough. So I might not immediately jump on this one on launch day and instead try to get a sample bc it is expensive! Also was wondering if/when you could do an updated video on best foundations for oily skin? 🙏🏻 😃
Yeah wait for a sample for sure! I'm wear testing both apple foundations side by side today so stay tuned for that. I can do an oily skin foundation video for sure!

Hey Steff, I think the stomach bug is all over, we had it in my house too. Hope you're feeling better. The drugstore foundation game is good,I don't think I need high end, but especially if it isn't going to wear 10 hours and my dry skin needs it to last. Thanks for always putting in 110% for us

I live in South Texas . I’m at home from work sick with that stomach bug. Would you do a video with heat and humidity resisting foundations for summer? The only foundation I have found that stays on through heat and humidity is Este Lauder Double Wear.

I will say this..Nars LR foundation is the top used out of my drawer.
My beautycounter second and haus labs and kjaer Weis at bottom. I’m on a no buy, lol, I laugh too…but I’m biting my fingers off to stick to it.
My one exception is Revlon SC illumination in 117 and that’s because I have $4 and 40% off at cvs and I have a left over GC that has 6 bucks so it will cost me less than 2 dollars…
The Nars foundation is a nice one!! Try a sample of this before you buy, that's definitely my recommendation.
The balm looked more neutral grayish like a lot of k beauty cc creams are compared to the liquid. Idk if it was truly a darker color or just seemed like it because of the under tone?

Stomach bug has passed through here and caused my 17 yr old to be hospitalized and it was so bad they removed his gallbladder and he had so much inflammation and infection.
Brought him home from hospital Saturday husband started up then my daughter. So far I’m doing good and we are headed into second week of this nightmare. Y’all pray for us! It’s been awful to see my family be so sick. We all rarely ever get ill.

Thanks for this review Steff! I’m going to pass on this one, you had me at it feels heavier after your oils came through and cannot stand that feeling on my skin. I like the Juvias place foundation it lasts a good 10-12 hours on me.

I hated the cream foundation. It was gross feeling and wore about 5 minutes lol.

I am not sure why people test products without their normal routine. As an oily person, I would not wear a foundation without powder and primer.
Not every one is oily though...
