I really appreciate the extra work you do! This was so helpful! I need to skip both of these. I went back and watched the apple balm review. I ended up buying the L’Oréal balm on your advice and I love that one! I just want something with more coverage. You and I usually wear the same shade but I’m 58 and have very dry skin. Thanks again!💕

I have only ever tried their balm and it felt heavy on my combo oily skin even though I didn’t apply too much, it also didn’t last longer than 5 hours hence I gave it away a long time ago 😂

I tried a sample of the Apple balm and liked it I have dry skin and I still used all my moisturizers. But I have a balm from she glam and it lasted exactly the same. 10+hrs. I think you can save money and use the sheglam.

Fascinating!!! I just got the Balm a few days ago, used it twice, hated it. BUT now I wanna play with different things to try and make it work! (The Balm side appeared more flattering on ma 70inch HD TV! However, your makeup is always on point! 💜
The Balm foundation only works when it wants to on me lol! I can’t rely on it so I only use it here and there.
I love the balm so much, I don’t need to try the serum. I have normal to dry skin and my skin looks lovely when I use the original.

It’s a foundation that looks good for a few hours until it doesn’t. Much like the ones from Juvia’s Place. Those only get me 6-7 hours tops.
I had the same experience as you when I bought the Good Apple Foundation Balm. At first application, it looked awful on me. Clustered in lines and pores, emphasized texture. I thought I was going to have to return it. Then, I saw another reviewer use a face oil as a primer. I finally got it to look OK with the oil. I couldn't build it up to full coverage without it looking like buttermilk smeared on my face. But most foundations do that on me anyway. Since I first got the GA, I've acquired other cream foundations that require less work, so the Good Apple has been ignored for quite awhile. I was about to toss it until your video comparison inspired me to use it again. I planned to get rid of it if it didn't look good. I put it on about an hour ago and it went on nicely. I'll see what it looks like at the end of the day. I have the shade 8 as well, but I probably would look better with #10. The match on you looks amazing, and I often use the same shades as you. I doubt I'll get the serum foundation, and I probably won't buy another GA balm, but for now, #8 has been spared the chopping block.

@@SteffsBeautyStash The balm was still holding up at the end of the day, so it got spared the trash can for now. I can wear it on days when I don't have to look perfect. I use the Beauty Bakerie face oil, but probably any oil would do. Rituel de Fille makes a good one, but it's expensive. Someday, I might get it.
Is the shades of the balm pretty spot on for the shades in the serum foundation?
I'm not sure I don't have the same shades in them.
I thought it looked grey in the other video but it makes sense that others said it looked olive. That was probably what I was seeing a more neutral olive tone.

Hi Steff!! I don't know if you have seen yet in your Walmart, but there is a new makeup brand there!! It's called Revolve and it's by Makeup Revolution. It's basically the same prices as Wet N Wild (only $4.98 for their foundations!?) I have been using the Super Matte foundation for a few days now and I can officially say it is one of the best foundations I've ever tried. It's full coverage, but someone still looks natural on the skin. It does not cake up or separate or transfer (I set all my foundations with a powder, so that could be partially why). I have normal to oily skin like you, and it keeps me matte to natural all day long. I wore this to a convention yesterday and had it on from 7:30 AM To 11:30 PM and it only then started to have some normal wear and tear (around the 16 hour mark!!!) They have pretty much everything for a full face of makeup.. I highly recommend you try it!!! 😍😍

Great timing with the video! I was just looking at the balm and was wondering how it stacked up to the serum. So thank you! Also I have a foundation review request, on the Camera Ready Cosmetics site ( where MUAs that work on films go) there is a foundation called The William Tuttle foundation, it’s renowned in the movie industry and I would love your thoughts! I have never used anything from KVD but did swatch some of the good apple foundation balm and it's really thick, I wonder if that clogs pores as the texture felt really thick and creamy.
They are just super full coverage. I know they are meant to cover anything and everything including tattoos.

I am not lucky with the KVD foundation but I bought the cream and I haven’t used it 😬 we’ll see if I moisture my skin very well it will work who knows 🤷🏻♀️but I am not going to buy the new one 👍🏻👋🏻🙋🏻♀️🇲🇽🇺🇸
