berserker ripping is actually double dipping just like every other double dipping tooltip(shattered, victimized) said % of base dmg, that being say the base dmg was calculate after multiplier the % part of base dmg will be multiply again. This is why vulnerable dmg is so powerful regardless gushing wound scale much more on cri dmg, simply becoz vulnerable dmg will scale twice in berserker ripping dmg calculation. On the other hand, flay barb build which doesnt scale with double dipping but more of gushing wound would prefer crit dmg more. Sorry for bad english.

It’s hard to tell sometimes if some builds are too weak or if others are just way too strong but it’s definitely both. Sadly until all the bugs are fixed it’s hard to have an accurate perspective on what to tweak and how much

I am wondering, for a pure bleed build like flay, can it be better to only temper „all damage“ like close, vuln, etc and get rid off crit damage to maximize the bleed damage.
Or is the gushing wounds bonus necessarily?

What about dust devil size? Being in town doesnt show the % from fierce winds but it does out of town. One would then assume you only need 60-80% size from weapons. But does the aspect still add to the damage aka you could reach 140% dmg from size? I want to test this tonight
From what I've heard, the aspect does not count towards the 100%. But definitely test it out and let me know
It does count. If you go out of town and cast a shout, then pull up your stats, it adds the percentage from the aspect to your total. So if you use fierce winds on a 2H, you only need one size roll

Does the Skullbreaker aspect work well with the whirlwind bleed build? I never see anyone using it. Seems it would be good to me.
It sort of works but there are better options that doesn't require stuns

On the side note, I'm guessing you would want crit chance, cut to the bone and heavy handed on an amulet for a bleed build
I appreciate the breakdown. I followed the advice of other videos and swapped things around which seemed worse in feel, but with no tangible proof. I am too scared to go into the sex dungeon. What I don't understand is how folks are getting the 400 million bleed ticks. I am a good lemming and copy builds with similar, though lesser gear, and get 50 million ticks.
In the vid he essentially said it's really good gear with a lot of ranks into Heavy Handed.
@@Hiiiromy apologies for the question but can you clarify where we need to put the + heavy handed? I have all the Ubers so I’ve put together the Uber version of this build I am having issues hitting those high ticks in the millions as well my friend 😢
@@Omgapistolftw unfortunately the only place you can get the heavy handed ranks is on the amulet. Ideally you would have a GA Heavy Handed with cut to the bone ranks as well. I think that is a unicorn though unless you want to spend billions. An amulet like that with the proper masterworking and boots with GA wary cry with masterworking I think is the only way to get those multiple millions bleed tick. Assuming everything esle is in place as well.

I have never liked berserk ripping on a 2 hander. Its never been the the whole raw damage, this was obvious with berserk ripping vs the ww bleed node.

You benefit less from crit damage is what I meant, i.e. less damage comes from crits on avg
