What stood out most for me today is Dani's attitude. In the first episode she was having trouble letting stuff go but now she's letting go of more than she's keeping. Her whole demeanour has changed. She looks bright and happy and lighter. The power of decluttering lives cannot be under estimated.
Yes. I was like her. Now that I have changed, I feel unsettled if I have too much stuff around me. I need to constantly declutter my surroundings because every day, there's always mails, packages from food etc, and outgrown clothes belong to my 3yo son. Toys. On and on.
Yea i feel like she could go over the first stuff again bc she would be able to see clearly now. Like shes been enlightened.

Quick tip for all the pet owners with pets like this, once they get bored, store the toy in a box and reintroduce it in 1-2 months. Most of the time they are just as interested as when they get a new one and you dont have to buy as many. 🐾

Ooh! KEEP the dental implant paperwork! Put it with your medical stuff, as an FYI Medical Records with implants are kept for 25years. If it’s in your body, keep it!
The air purifier filter problem is so real! I think it's a different sort of planned obsolescence. They just stop making the filters. Size the next model a quarter inch wider and a half inch shorter. 😬

Capitalism is literally the reason for clutter.
100% I always end up having to buy a backstock so I can at least have what I need for it and then its just more stuff to manage.
I bought a pretty expensive name brand air filter to avoid this problem.. because even if the models change most of the time they still use the same filter size.

I always buy stock of simple items, toothbrush, water filter, underwear, canned tomatoes, ponytails, pens, tp😂

I literally started screaming when I saw you were back with Dani. You are in the home stretch!
Speaking from experience, it's so easy as an expat (especially plus sized) to accumulate clothes and cosmetics...you always buy way too much when you're "home" and bring it back to where you are living out of fear that you wont be able to find clothes in your size or makeup in your preferred shades and formulas and then you end up with so much that you can't even work your way through all of and it sits there.
What growth in moving toward a home not a storage room!
love this series! really hope you do a second pass decluttering with her :) i think vivek wasn't maybe the best fit and a bit judgemental/ not letting Dani make her own decisions, but it's nice he helped out

Coming from someone who has experienced the freedom that comes from decluttering, I am SO happy for you Dani. This will change your life in more ways than you realize. Great job!!! You won't regret letting go of any of it.

So true about Pampered Chef! I have downsized my kitchen over the years and I just shake my head at all of those items I had grand plans to use and maybe touched a handful of times before realizing I didn't need a single purpose item after all. Great series and so excited for the organization portion... Go Dani!
And it's on the pricey side, so we tend to be reluctant to let it go because it was a bit of an investment and it feels wasteful.
I have boxes of Pampered Chef that has never been used, and is now too heavy for me to lift! I still hate to part with it!

You're not wrong! I love Halloween and used to have so many decorations. But once I decided to just enjoy the spooky vibes and decorations out in the world, I was about to let go of mine, and I don't regret it at all ❤🎃
There’s little holiday decor we need
Crepe paper streamers, balloons and cake candles or toppers on bdays are plenty, for example-even for adults lol

It's clear Dani kept with it and tackled all the homework she had and more and I'm going to applaud that for a moment . I always think that's a really good sign that habits and mindsets toward STUFF are changing. Go Dani!
Being free of the burden of STUFF is so amazing and changes so much in life. It's also very sobering when we confront what we held onto--and what was never even used or enjoyed--because of something's imagined worth or potential for providing satisfaction/pleasure. And then making space for the things we really do want and will use. I'm excited to see the after and organizing stages with Dani!

Dani I’m so proud of you. This wasn’t easy! I hope you are doing well. I felt a lot of emotions going through this series with you 2. Space Maker gal, you too. You were spectacular, keeping Dani’s spirits boosted, actually I think you both helped each other. But Space Maker gal you knew how, what, when to do all the right things. You were Dani’s friend, empathetic to her but still kept a cool impartial attitude that just helped.
