Dani's comment about not wanting to clutter up her space again, exactly mirrored mine after decluttering. Once you make the space, you don't want to lose it again.

I would put the plant wall where the TV is. She could cut the back legs of the shelves so they could sit flush with the wall.

Getting started is always difficult but i find that keeping the momentum is the hardest part. Well done for doing this and continuing with it, such an inspiration and thank you for sharing.
In our country we put stickers on the trash containers outside, to mark yours since they all look the same except for the house numbers on them… so our container is beautiful because of some Apple stickers and some old skateboard stickers from my husband 😜
The only place I used stickers on is my laptop 😅

I had so many! i was able to downsize some and i'm happy with it. My Hope is that if i get more things declutters and removed i may be able to use a small wall with a type of shelf and create a happy plant area! Hi, I'm not a scientist, nor an electrical engineer, but my guess is if the area receives some sunlight, the battery may be solar powered, and that is why you get light at night. The string of lights might have been designed for outdoors.
My thought was maybe the batteries have a tiny bit of residual power, so the very dim light only shows up at night. Otherwise sometimes I've seen some shades kind of "glow" in low light. The test I'd do is take the batteries out and see if the pumpkins still look the same at night! Happy new home regardless x

I haven’t seen anyone ask, but why does this house have those short ledges/walls in every room?? They seem to NOT be needed and a pain to decorate a room.

With someone with ADHD I was always sacred to use the stickers for very similar reasons but it came from me losing everything all the time so I didn't want to lose the item I put the sticker on or put it on a laptop since I knew I would need to replace it in the future. Now I started journaling and I'm using the stickers without worry. Now if I open a journal it shows all the unique stickers I collected during my travels/events.
I am loving this series with Dani! I am so happy for her and her calm and peaceful space.

April why didn't you guys put the shelf unit that was next to the door (the black one) next to the plant shelves and scooch them closer to each other on the plant wall? Dani has so many plants and vases, it just makes sense... Great series by the way :)

lucy is a happy cat. cats do like their shifted around. mine loved the shift to summer mode, right next to te window. did you know that cats are great at dusting the tops of FURniture?

Loving this series with Dani and really looking forward to her kitchen transformation! I finally took a box to the dump yesterday and noticed they have bins for textiles (that are too ragged to donate) for my next trip. Slowly but surely things are leaving! 😊
Lucy and Ricky are adorable and they look so happy to have all of that newly opened space!
PS It would be nice to have a small closed cabinet to put plant-related items like empty pot & vases, fertilizer, decorative stones, and the like so they're not cluttering up the display shelves. What's in that closed cabinet on the back wall?
Another possibility would be one of those boxes that look like square baskets with a lid.

It's all coming together beautifully! I was helping a friend with her office - and once we'd decluttered, organised, and fashioned the area - her kitty came in to check our work sniffed everywhere, then settled himself right in the middle for a nap. He did that every time we'd clear a space - I think the energies from shifting your space are enormous and sometimes chaotic - but the lovely calm gentle energy of a space you've deliberately worked on is nip for the pets 😊
We had a cat who did that. His name was Paws because he had extra toes in the front, and he died two years ago. I still think about him every time I clean up a space because he would have been so happy.
I wish these videos lasted hours! I love them, love your energy girls!

The spooky Pumpkin lights are probably on a timer. Most of the string lights have a compartment for the battery with an included switch. You can switch from "off" to "on for 6 hours, turn off, turn on again in 18 hours" and "on". Yours is probably stuck in the automated program and turns on every evening at the same time. I like your spooky plant energy theory :D

I’ve seen a privacy screen of artificial flowers and foliage used to decorate balconies. Might be a way to use the extra flowers etc. are you allowed lights on the balcony. Apartment is coming together beautifully

What an amazing difference you have made! So relaxing in the lounge now. If your kitchen has that ledge too, I am thinking of stackable cupboards (standard bench height) with doors (you get them diy here in Aus) in white to go along it - lots of storage, but a neat front. Can't wait to see how you both tackle this!

Loved the after: enough visual interest and not too much empty space. (Acrophobic here and too much empty space even indoors can produce some faint discomfort.)

The point is there is energy flowing through the plants and possibly releasing in the vicinity enough for glow in the lights as they are on a strip of wire too?
(i’ve seen a kid science experiment with a potato as a battery I think other organic items can do that to possibly)

It's such an unusual apartment design, I really like the ledges that are in some of the rooms, I think they're pretty cool, my cats would really like them. The living room looks really good, I like the 2 shelf stand she moved next to the sofa, perfect spot.
