      More diesel stuff coming, you're just in time for the good diesel content!

      Hell yeah! I know you said you’re new to the diesel game but you really know you’re stuff! When I get my truck soon I want to run a tune and possibly have some parts fall off of it lol but the mechanics around here I don’t really trust they seem really shady. I live in Florida and I wouldn’t mind driving out to New Mexico to have you work on it haha if you could help a brotha out! Cheers my man!

      Unloaded it's very quiet and nice, pulling 12k it's a little louder but so is a stock truck when they are working.

      This is hands down the best truck i've ever owned. I'm a hard person to please when it comes to overall liking something. I always find where the compromise is, but this truck doesn't have any. The interior is great fit and finish wise, super quite, it daily drives amazing, it pulls loads like no other. The trans tuning is spot on from the factory, and i mean ford nailed converter lockup and gear changes in stock form, i'd buy this truck 10 times over. That's talking about the 2017-19 trucks. The new 2020 is even more of a beast of a truck, if you reenlist do yourself a favor and get a 2020. They are making the claimed crank HP to the tire in stock form, they're easily underrated by 40-60HP.

      @@JaegerWrenching awesome and great to hear that your truck has been doing well for you and I considered the 2020 the only thing I dont like is how the front grill to me looks too similar to the 6.4 front end in a way, and I dont need it for towing but I rather have the power there if I need it, I still find it crazy that a truck that weighs at least 3000 more than my F150 gets way better fuel economy. the main thing I would do is DPF delete and unplug the EGR and tune it until the warranty is up then I would fully delete it

    Great video. I'm new to diesel but what do you do with the water that gets drained out from the fuel filter ? Do you dump it in the sink, toilet, in your yard, take it to Autozone, etc? Thanks.

    • @JaegerWrenching
      @JaegerWrenching  5 лет назад +2

      Kenny K only the first little bit you drain is typically water. I drained mine all the way to change the filter. But you should crack the valve every 3k miles and drain a little. I take out the watery fuel and mix it with my used oil.

      @@JaegerWrenching Hey, thanks for the reply. For some reason in videos and on the forums, everybody only mentions how to do it, how often to do it, and so on. They never mention how they dispose of the "water" that they drain out.

    So what you did does it void your warranty and with the high flow dpf are you able to hook all your sensors up. Or are you relying on the tune to tell it has the sensors

    Do you recommend 4" over a 5"? And it is just straight through?

    • @JaegerWrenching
      @JaegerWrenching  3 года назад +2

      Stock pipe is 4”. The “5” is actually 4” for the first 3 feet and then steps up behind the front doors to 5”. So you’re paying more for the same size pipe. I really like 4” with a muffler as it smooths out any possible drone.

    Good vid,,how did you deal w the sensors..did you leave them plugged in and removed them totally off the dpf? Or do you just unplug them and cover them up? I didn’t see any hanging off the dpf when laying on the ground. Thanks, I’m getting ready to do mine..

    Good video up until 26:48 where you left out the new install, me I always like to see the finished install. I did some checking, there isn't any after market high flow DPF for your 2018 6.7 or any year for that fact, here's another fact, Flo-Pro doesn't make anything other than a DPF delete exhaust system for the 6.7 PowerStroke. You we're really quick to go to the exhaust sounds at end. You didn't want anyone to know what you did. I don't like people that have to hide what they did, make me not want to trust them, if I spent all day installing a new exhaust system i would be proud of it and want to show it off. And BTW when you rolled out the coal at the end, that should have been a clue to most views.
