The mushrooms! Girl!! That used to be me so bad!! Sometimes it still is if I "ask for help with making the shopping list" ask me how I have 5 jars of pickles now but yup that used to be a constant in my house. I couldn't find it or I just missed it when making the list and ugh!! 20,000 cans of olives later... lol It doesn't happen so much now that I have a different storage space that I use as pantries but yup I feel you. Now I can just open the door, everything has a place so I know if I need more of something and onto the list it goes. Took me a LONG time to get here though but now I love it. The floor is beautiful!! We are currently replacing the floor through our whole house. Its such a nice refresh. I online shop a lot but groceries are not something I can have someone else pick out for me. Well I should say dry goods are fine but like produce and stuff thats fresh or refrigerated I cant. Nope cant have people picking out that stuff for me. But right now I dont use the pick up for groceries. I want to start using it more though because online they say they have things and then you get to the store and nope not in stock so its getting annoying. So I am going to have to get over my "ick" factor and have some pick up stuff happening. We usually do big pantry restocks every 4 months or so and that only leaves the fresh to pick up every week anyways. Ok that was a whole ramble sorry about that.. I am looking forward to the declutter challenge. We really dont do gifts for Christmas anymore. Its just the 3 of us and my son is 24 so we all just buy what we want instead. But since I only had 1 I have no advice. I went nuts at Christmas. I saved all year to have "the pile of presents" under the tree. Which means I am not much help LOL Now I ask him what he wants and he says "nothing" sooo he buys his own. I use Pinterest for meal planning. I pick out 5 or 6 recipes a week ( mostly for inspiration now ) and they come with built in shopping lists. Makes it easy to just pick from my list every day to choose from. I dont plan out breakfasts because its usually the same all the time and lunches I make once with enough to cover a week of heat and eat. Can you tell I am commenting along as I watch? I miss the days of hitting Toys R Us on black Friday with $300 and be able to have Christmas shopping done. My two are 20 and 23 now so $300 barely makes a dent in their lists.
