For reference, the vans seem to be holding their value well here in Japan. I’m looking at a 2020 Nissan NV-350 long body with 17K km/1K miles for 2M¥. Converted to $/€ that’s currently US$14K/£13K. The US$ amount is currently artificially high in my opinion.
Here we are in 2024 and the prices on vans have not gone down even gotten worse! Would love to buy one to help grow my business but it's simply no longer affordable. The heck is taking auto-makers so long to to increase their supplies! There's plenty of willing buyers! Even normal cars are too expensive these days for most people to buy new! Whatever happened to just buying a normal affordable car without all the unnecessary expensive clap trap! Ok so there's a chip shortage? So What! So go back to carburetors and older tech then and get some cars on the road!
@@LensOfJames I'm afraid it won't any time soon. Maybe next year. Just cuz pp like to hope they will get more, even if more vans become available. So prices usually go up fast and don't come down fast or at all.

Unfortunately, 3 months down the line from this video, the prices of cars and vans show no signs of going back down 😪
it's ridiculous.. in my area, 15 year old Vans from 2007 are on average $17k - $19k

Yes , same here..... a sprinter van that is 10 years old 200,000 km on it selling for 30k...

It's a pain in arse . I want to upgrade my 06 vivaro to the next model up but the cheapest 16plate is 7grand 🙄
