Are you kidding me ? I can't be live I watched this till the end, and this was the shortened version ??
Surely soldering would be better than a crimp connection...
Thanks for the video Jonathan but where do i plug the two wires once i've made the mod? Thanks in advance.
I did everything and didn’t work on mine :(
Didn't work on mine fitted second-hand abs pump
When, why would you do this?
I wish this had worked for me, stuck on what to try next
Replacing this may not be a permanent fix. The two o-rings above this often leak and when they do, brake fluid dribbles down over this. It ruins the $80 part. The other issue common to why people do this fix is that the plug this part mates to shorts out. It is a difficult fix to repair the plug and ultimately frequently means replacing the assembly this plugs in to. This fix is a way to by pass that problem. I ended up if I were to do a part three, buying a kit from falcon works which gave me the parts to replace the o-rings and I replaced the shuttle valve assembly so the plug was replaced and not shorted. I then installed a new shuttle valve modulator. I kept this one I worked on in the video as a backup.
Marci Cannon I am going old school the front left wheel bearings aren't great so will start there as I think this may effect the abs, I had it working for just over a day by cleaning abs rings sensors, seemed reasonably capable off road. I was just looking for an easy fix for the wrong problem
Well that's 20 minutes of my life wasted
I guess you don't have a LR2? I only say that because this works and saves you a metric ton of money.
Well you guessed wrong, I do have a D2 & found it much easier to buy a brand new one for $80 and fit it in 10 minutes. problem solved :)
Yes you are correct . But I did check to make sure there was no fluid leak before I ordered the part. My issue with the 3 amigos is now resolved
