      Hello. If you have a chance to use an editing software that has noise reduction and sharpening, then it's best to use that. The camera doesn't do it as good as Davinci resolve studio for example and you have the freedom of how much you can play with this in post. Otherwise the camera noise reduction and sharpening is baked into the video file.

    I have also discovered this way of setting the exposure on Action 3/4. However, I still see some shakiness while using 1/100s shutter speed. I would be great if DJI make it possible to select a range between 1/120s and 1/8000s. Or, better yet: they should make it possible to adjust ISO and shutter speeds in 1/3 EV steps.

    noob question. For filming in a bright sunny day, with a -0.3EV (cause I like it more "dramatic") and a shutter speed of 1/100-1/8000, in auto mode of course, would it matter if the ISO range is 100-200 or if it's 100-800? In theory it shouldn't for the sunny part right? But the 100-800 would help me if I go through an unexpected shady place, like a tunnel, under trees and so on. My main use for this camera is to record my motorcycle rides so I can't quickly adjust while riding.

    • @M1R0_Life_through_a_lens
      @M1R0_Life_through_a_lens  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hello. Exactly. The 100-800 ISO gives you more range for those darker places. It also allows the camera to have a higher then 1/100s shutter speed for better stabilisation. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!

      This trick is awesome. To be able to set a range is cool. So, I set mine to 1/100 ~1/8000, and the ISO no higher than 3200 (I'm vlogging at night). My question is the frame rate. • @M1R0_Life_through_a_lens
      @M1R0_Life_through_a_lens  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hello. You guys have the NTSC in the US so 24 or 23.97FPS is the one to go. If you want a little smoother video sensation then got wit 30FPS. For the "video game look" use 60FPS. In any case a shutter speed of 1/100s will do just fine.

      @MrPSt86 I have used Gyroflow, which is really good. And on its web site it specifically recomends higher shutter speeds. But it only works with specific camera settings like Wide FOV. So , I mostly use the camera's stabilization, which works for every setting. To avoid jerkiness in motion caused by low frame rates and high shutter speeds, I shoot at 60 fps. 24 fps should never be used.
