As a Missourian, my least favorite thing about December through February is that it’s very windy and dry, and my hands get more crispy than any other time of the year. I think it’s fun to guess what season we will get the next day. We have gotten snow in late April and it was once a pleasant 80 something degrees Fahrenheit around New Year’s.

I live in California, and the thing I like about winter is that it becomes a reasonable temperature; somewhere in the 50-70 Fahrenheit range, depending on where you are in winter. Much better than 90-110 Fahrenheit in summer. Also rain! Rain is wet and cool, and I don't have to water the plants for a little while.

What I like about winter is that 99% of the time it’s stay inside, or go to the mountains and have a good sledding time with the family. Too bad the time to get to the mountains is like 1 hour & 30 minutes minimum and sometimes you gotta pay to do stuff there in the first place so… just stay indoors (or have fun in the backyard) and drink lotsa that lukewarm cocoa by the fire or just sitting in the lounge watching the news or whatever boomers/millennials do in their free time nowadays.

Snow doesn’t hurt to step on barefoot. It feels soft. It’s actually easier to walk around my property barefoot in the Winter than Summer. Of course, the snow in my region rarely drops below 20 Fahrenheit, so you’re not going to get frostbite and lose any toes.
