- Hi everyone, I bought an overpriced economy van from Japan and I’m way too excited about it😁 It’s a 1995 Honda Street with a 5 speed manual, fuel injection, all wheel drive, a/c, dual sunroofs, and a ton of space. It’s super clean with only 64k kilometers and all the major maintenance done; can’t wait to go everywhere in it! The handle bars instead as are wild, if not even wilder. The fact that someone thought a handle bar could replace seatbelts amazes me.

1995 honda kei van got 2 seater passenger seat at the back which fold to the lowest point to become flatbed. Mine 2022 honda N-van have the same set up but the headrest had to be remove first. What a coincidence honda had the same design almost 30 years ago which still in use today. What has been proven, i dont think honda wanted to tweaks that much in their design. 👍👍👍👍👍
I’ve never considered myself a Honda boy, despite owning multiple Hondas at one time… but I’m convinced they make the best cars🤘

Believe it or not we just sold out one similar to this one in DAIWAN because we’re coming back to the US soon…it’s really good for car camping & enough even for two of us… so good for you and where your at?

@@369WhiteHeadHeavenlyKing I found it at an importer in Washington (Boike) that already had it stateside, handled the import paperwork for me, and titled it in Washington. Then I transferred the Washington title to Texas.
@@adamleebmx thought so I heard of this importer too and do you mind telling how much you paid for it oh btw mine like 310000 km when I sold it last week

in the nineties, one of my classmates bought such a practically new car in Russia with right-hand drive for 2,000 dollars and for this money it may make sense, but at this age there is no point in buying even for 2,000, despite the fact that this is not an American standard and any simple bolt will cost you get absolutely crazy money along with an order from Japan

How hard was it to get legal for roads in Texas? A lot of paperwork?
I purchased it from Boeki up in Washington. They did all the paperwork for me and shipped it and a Washington title to me and I registered it! Hardest part was paying in full then waiting for it to arrive

Yes it's registered in Texas but it only requires a safety inspection as it's older than 25
Japan keeps all their good cars in japan only. We get the overpriced watered down civics and crvs.

How much did it cost you?
$14k all said and done. Van was $10k, $1500 in maintinence to get it ready for me, $1600 to have it shipped from Washington to Dallas, and $500 to have them handle the import paperwork for me. Got it during the height of the pandemic lol
