- Hello guys, are you tired of doing wildwoods, or playing a weak MF character or spending hours setting up maps?? Say no more, I have the perfect currency farming strategy for you.
This is a beast, essence and delirium orb farming strategy.
Ill explain in detail how to run it, how much I did in 130 maps doing it and at the end there's a gameplay showing step by step.

There's a lot of info regarding the strategy, if you have any questions let me know. 🏹🐸
"FAQ":
1) Once your managerie is full (1000 beasts), new beasts override old ones at random. You don't need to clear the managerie, just take out the frogs as soon as you capture it. I also check it after 4 or 8 maps as I mention in the video. Even if you don't see it at first, the chance of losing a frog is marginally low. I prefer that over dealing with the managerie system that seems to have been done in 1950.
2) Check the description, I only mentioned this in the showcase, there are 2 regex: one for expensive beasts and another for cheap ones. Put them in the search box in the managerie UI ( H -> Managerie ), and take out the beasts you see there. You can ignore the lynxs.
3) The strat involves RNG, you can technically run 9999 maps and don't see any frogs. Just keep running the maps, with essences and deli orbs you won't ever lose currency anyways and the frogs can't hide forever. Also check that your regex is right and you are copying it correctly, just in case.
4) Sextants prices raised a lot since the video came out, I'm working on testing the strat in T2T3 without the sextant, they went from 15-25c to 70-100c currently.
even for 70 c per sextant, it's still a lot of profit
i buyed like, 14 div in sextant and gain over 100 div just in frogs
@@DeathAlive666 it is, based on my last stats, I'm breaking even with a sextant at 237c. Meaning that I would be losing currency after that. However, you can farm the beast without the sextant.
So, the actual breakpoint is: (4d*215) / (sextant price/4) > maps per frog
The sextant wouldn't worth to buy at around 119c

No need for that, frogs still 4d and I would even pay 100c per sextant tbh (they are like 20c now no bulk)

i suggest you play harvest with growing hordes if youre new extremely consistent and profitable and straightforward and you wont need to price check anything + harvest juice is very easy to sell
the strat in this vid is good but you can get unlucky and lose money like some one in the comments had run 82 maps and no frogs at all

My recommendation is to do it without the sextant, just get the scarab. It can even be rusted, and start running these maps without stones, T2 fields T3 strand.
You can't lose currency, just with the essences alone you are going to make bank.
Specially if you are new, you are going to swim in currency.
If I would be starting the league today, I would hard focus on this 100%

Good guide, I'm following this strategy and I got two frogs on my first map. I have a question. How to prevent the beasts from being eliminated? Reviewing the bestiary after each map? Also, could you share the filter you use? Thank you
Your old beasts are deleted at random.You can get craicic chimerals and be deleted in the same map if you are unlucky and your managerie is full.It happened to me today, I play on standard so 10 divines just gone ,that hurt..

I don't, I check the managerie each 4 or 8 maps using the regex. I take out the ones highlighted and continue doing my maps.
Each time I see the frog in-map, I take it out.

Don't worry, the frogs will show up.
If you find that the maps are too rippy, you can remove for the meantime the delirium node "Descent Into Madness", that node makes the deli mirror a lot harder.

@@kenzududas1441It can spawn in any map, but we do it in strand because the layout is easy and straightforward to find the beasts.
Also, the frog has a higher chance to spawn in lower tier maps. That's why we want to do it in a T6 or lesser.
if you can squeeze seanse and do possessed gilded scarab would profit more from this strat.
aslo mysterious harbinger sextants aint so bad on strand since there are 2 bosses. you can profit on fracturing shards and etc

Yes but it you would need to put in and out 3 watch stones for each map to je able to sustain which take time, concentration and since you are running a lot of maps per hour there is a very high chance you forget it for a few maps^^. But you have a good point.
Its an option indeed, but we only have 1 WS. We do ~30 maps per hour (some of you even faster than that), I honestly don't want to be switching that many times.
And you need to run these in low level to increase the frog spawn rate chance.

The sextant always duplicates the frogs, and in the atlas tree you have some nodes that gives a chance for beasts to appear in pairs.
So if that happens, you see 2 frogs in map and both get duplicated, totalling 4 frogs from a single encounter.
I did this back when weapons had their own trees. Really hated clearing out all the yellow beasts though
I actually don't do it.
Now when you fill your managerie, when you capture a new beast, an old one is overwritten. I think back then in crucible, this wasn't added yet.
So I just run the maps, and I stop in like 4 or 8 maps to see if I got something good. And when I identify the frog in a map, I take it out right there.
@@aldodzb they would delete a random one and pretty sure I lost either a frog or the other expensive one get yanked within a map or two of catching it. After that I didn't dare risk it
@@panzerswineflu even if you lose one frog here and there (1 in 1000 chance), the profits are so good and the investment is so low, that I personally wouldn't care.
Taking them out after you capture it in the map will avoid the issue like 99.999% of the times anyways.

Hi, you need to have the seventh gate keystone in your atlas tree along side all the gates to see all the options in the map device.
Hey man thx for that guide i wanted to try beasts for a long time got a question tho does it matter what map do i run i got a very strong build and loadsss of random t14,16 maps i noticed there are bioms but does it matter what map i run in terms of spawn chance for the frog 😅
Hey, it does matter, in higher tier maps there are red beasts that can spawn, effectively reducing your chance of seeing the frog. This is why we want to do in lower tier maps, preferably in t2t3, but since we are using a compass we do it in t5t6.
It is possible to get zero or very little Frogs in a 100 map run, lowest Ive gotten is 2 when running the copy beast compass. Compasses are in short supply and more expensive. Clearing out the Bestiary is also a pain, so good beasts dont get over-ridden. Shouldn't happen but one bad run of 100 maps with a full Bestiary means I always clear it out when full.
I personally don't clear the managerie, just leave it like that and take out the frogs once you see them in map. And yes, rng is rng, you can run 99999 maps without seeing a frog, but in general you should see them frequently enough.

@@Sith90lord yes, you can only have 1k beasts max. Once you reach that amount, new ones start deleting at random the ones you have.
I never clean it either, I just take the frog the moment I capture it in a map, that why it cannot be removed accidentally.
Fact fix
Around 24:15 you said that regex limit is 50 chars, which is correct for 95% of the search windows in this game. For some reason beastiary search bar has a higher text limit, at least 100, and you dont need 2 different regex to filter out good beasts.
I personally use 2 regex to filter out either GOOD beasts, skipping the one's that are 10c or less, and a 99 char long BAD beast regex, so that i can spam click delete's on them once in a while. Dunno if you still need to clear bad beasts, i just do this out of a habit from running beasts in previous 3 leagues
Also when you socket your watchstone's - you can open your portals to a map, and remove watchstone's so you'll get lower tier maps as drop. Cant say if you'll get more or less maps in total, but this can help if you find some big essence+beast monsters hard to kill
And speaking from my experience - if you are able to run more maps per hour you'll get good profit, after some point it would be worth to remove essences from the tree and run even more maps just for beasts. Back in the 3.21 league i pushed up to 110 maps/hour, and was hawing smth like 0.2-0.5 mirr a day running this strat (by the prices of that league at the moment i was running it, but this is hard to correlate those results for this league) , needed to skip ALL the content though.
Also if you wanna run strat in the video - you should look for adding Phase Run to the build, and learn to use it sparingly instead of putting it on left click (unless you wanna skip everything and hunt only good beasts). Would be good to link Phase Run-Increased Duration-Immortal Call/Steelsking-CWDT if you are using any of those skills separately

Nice recommendations! Wow, I didn't know that the managerie search bar could hold more than 50 chars, I can totally see it lol since bestiary was introduced like 100 years ago, I'll try that today when I log in and update the regex if that's the case.
I keep the cheap beasts because they are useful for crafting, even if I'm not doing something now, someone else is gladly to take them all for some divs. But for full efficiency, I would even ignore the spider and would go >50c+ only.
That's honestly a good following test run, just spamming maps for the frog and ignoring everything else, considering that the frogs is most of the profit.
However, that's going to increase the trade time because the copy beast sextant is very rare (in terms of weighting) and scarce in the market.
Maybe, the test could be doing it fast without the sextant in T3 vs this.

Bad red beasts (almost all are worth nothing, you can edit this if you wanna keep some though. I think i had beasts that give gems, the one's that give 10x currency, and smth else. It doesnt have Saqawine Vulture though (6-link), cause i used them once in a while near league start). Also dont use quotation marks on this regex, cause it bricks it:

@@aldodzb I dont delete yellow beasts, if you are talking about them. But i always delete worth less red beasts, like the one's that give you a random unique axe or etc. Never seen something remotely good from those one's. Only remotely good red beast is the crab that gives just a random unique, not because it's good overall, but cause it gave me few good items like 3 leagues in a row within first hour of league start, so this one kinda has a warm place in my heart
@@KPoe_00001 I meant the cheap red beasts, like the wolfs (7&15c), spiders(25c) and such. If you are trying to get max currency, you should just ignore them.
I personally don't manage the managerie at all, I just take out the frogs the moment I see them in map and that's it.
really want to try this strat but as a autobomber chieftain I think it would take me too long to kill essence mobs...
Only problem I had with this was getting people on tft to respond when I was trying to buy the compasses. Other than that, good stuff.

if you pm people right when they post stuff, it can be messy because you get spammed by like 4-6 people in less than a minute, its hard to keep track. Or the person had already sold it.
You can use poestack to buy compasses from people selling on TFT.
Ran 300 mapps in the past 3-4 days with pretty much the exact same setup. Hat a total of 6 frog spawns, so around every 50 maps. That's way less than what you saw. I actually made exactly the same with essences as I did with the frogs. Anyways was nice for a mixup to the daily MF routine but going back now, as the profit is just not good enough
That's a very bad batch indeed. One need to be careful to not capture more beasts after seeing a frog because they can be deleted at random, and once that happens both are gone.
Wondering what's your max bad streak. I did 250 extra maps after this initially 130, and got 2 bad streaks, one with 72 maps without a frog and the other 69. Despite of that, my avg was 34 maps.
I just did 40 maps and had a total of 16 frogs and about 30 spiders(25c each) and 10 rhex(60c each). You got hosed, but at least you got your bad luck out of the way.

as someone who has rolled thousands of sextants i know that Copy beasts is very very rare, it wasnt uncommon to roll 1000 and not see 1. It was always cheap because nobody bought it.

Yes you can, red beasts are unique if I'm not miss remembering. However, in higher tier maps the frog has a lower chance to spawn.

Yes it is, I was thinking on trying a test run again without the sextant. Its definitely less profitable, but at least you don't need to get the sextant.
You do the same but in T2-T3 version of the map. An upside is that you have less beasts in the pool compared to T5T6, thus increasing the frog spawn chance.
how often do you encounter the Craicic Chimeral?, i did 12 maps with the sextant and gilded beast scarab and i didnt see any.

Sometimes there's just too much happening in the screen or after running this for too long one can miss it lol

True, in fact, if many players try this, its 100% assured that some of those players are going to get unlucky. At least until they run enough maps to even out. Frogs can't hide forever from us 🐸
Bro, I did everything you said in the video, I got a lot of essence and orbs, but the rare mob didn't appear even once, I did more than 50 maps, either I'm very unlucky or they nerfed this farm or whatever...
Hi, my worst streak was 72 maps. So it can definitely happen.
Sometimes you are going to see the frog in less than 10 maps and others in tens.
Be sure to be searching for it correctly in the managerie: "craicic chimeral"

I get them in tft, buying in bulks of 10+. 10 sextants alone are 40 maps.
I bough them for 29c each from a guy that sold me 50.
Anyways, you can still run the strat without the sextant, in T2-T3 strand. Each frog is going to be 4 divines, which is still a lot
hey why are you running strand in T6 and not in T3 you can remove the watchstone after thesextant is consumed and why do you alch your maps and not run them white ? what does this add to essence or beasts ?

- We are running a lot of maps, 30-40 per hour, removing the watchstones each time gets annoying very fast
- I'm alching the maps because of the pack size, more mobs means more maps and better sustain.

It's exactly as you said, the more fav slots you use it, the more maps you are going to get.
Why did you pick Animal Companion and chance to create a copy beast nodes since we are using sextant ?
They stack you are guaranteed 2 can dupe to 4

Does it still work if I use missions instead of scarabs?
Yes but it's worse, gilded scarab adds extra red beasts, thus increasing the chance to see the frogs.
Anyways, you can start with the missions and once you get a frog or two (and run out of missions) you can continue with the scarab.
how does this start hold up in 3.24?
I haven't tried it with the new scarabs and atlas nodes, but judging by its price I would say not at the same level. Maybe the frog goes up in price later on.
Does the tier level of the map matter?
It does, in red maps there are other beasts that can spawn, reducing the chance of seeing the frog.
nice strat but its booring and luck is a huge factor here , for example i did x50 maps and i didnt get a single frog.
With the exact the setup that I'm showing here? We are doing everything we can to increase the spawn rate of the frog.
I would just setup 100, 200 maps and run them, my 130 was 10d, that's like 1 frog and some essences.
The frogs won't hide forever lol
Also double check your regex, just in case.

Hey, really? We cannot sustain the same map, but we do sustain strands/fields.
Check that you have all map nodes in the atlas tree, check that you have 11 strands + 1 fields in the favourite slots and check that your filter is showing T5 and T6 maps.
Also, alch your maps and clear mobs on your way.
Is this possible with Tier 3 maps?
Yes it is, it even has more chance to see the frog. However, you won't be able to use the dup sextant (unless you snapshot it, but that would be very annoying considering the amounts of maps we do per hour).
It only works in T1 maps? What do you think of t16 maps?
actually has to be at least t6 strand (1 voidstone) and t5 fields. Not sure how it would scale up at t16 assume the whole point is to be able to do it very fast.
Also does the type of beast that can spawn get limited by low tier map?
@@datictacdoe Yes, my build has enough dmg to do t16 fast but I am just in doubt about the beast part...
We don't do it in T16 because there are more beasts that can appear there, diluting the beast pool, therefore decreasing the frogs chance.
I'm doing it in T6 Strand / T5 fields, 1 WS to use the sextant.

Then why did my craicic chimerals got deleted immediately after I got them? I thought it's deleting the old beasts,but for some reason 5 min ago they were deleted immediately after I got them.I swear,I actually check immediately after each map and get them out.
You need to take them out IN THE MAP, literally you stop, press H and take them out.
If you capture a beast after the frogs, they can be deleted, and for some reason if that happens, both are deleted.
Still that's ultra unlucky, its 1/1000 if its truly random.

What are the most profitable beasts?

You cannot get any harvest beast.
In general we just care about the frog (Craicic Chimeral), Saqawine Rhex, and the spider (Fenumal Plagued Arachnid).

How much did you pay for each sextant chaos wise ?
29 chaos each with 4 uses IIRC. There was a guy selling a lot of them, and I grabbed 50.
The sextant is around 15c if you buy in bulks of 10.
However, if players start doing it, the price is going to go up since the copy beast sextant is actually pretty rare, it has 50 waiting (compared to enraged that has 200 for example).
prices is 30 c avg atm if you want to buy from poe stack and its double the investment for sextant but scarab is still 6c each@@aldodzb

Can I do it in high tier your Maps?
You can, but the frogs chance is going to be lower since others beasts can spawn there too. Also essence mobs can get nasty.
In the other hand, you have altars. I don't know how profitable that is, but it is possible.
for me it just didnt turn out because u can even buy the sextance and rolling yourself is insane. but nice idea
so i run 60 maps and 0 beast thats worth anything ^^ think they patched it out
you can buy the sextants and they did not. i just ran roughly 40 maps and got a frog. two of them because of the sextant so 8 div right there.@@marcelsokolovic69
Rolling them yourself is indeed pretty bad since this sextant is very rare (50 weighting!). Given the current prices, I would probably suggest that on a budget, to try the strat in T2T3 without the sextant.
Ill probably do a test run and see how it goes.

Nah keep going, you are still doing currency with the essences and deli orbs, frogs cannot hide forever, they are just shy.
Be sure to have a correct regex and that you are copying it correctly. 130 maps is very very unlucky.
why dont u just run white maps ?
Because I'm using a sextant, and running T2-T3 would mean switching stones every map, and since we are doing like 30 maps per hour, that would be too tedious, at least for me.
T2T3 vs T5T6 is basically the same

Check the filters to see how do you search for sextants, this is the same for any other compass you need in poe.
Hmmmmm... Even with the prices of the beasts reaching peek, I am not sure how you get 35 divs / h.. Seriosly I would not go for this strat expecting 35 divs / h, guys. It'll be around 20 at most. These beasts are SUPER rare to grab, you'll rely mostly on essesnces and deli orbs.
Like I said in the conclusions, the profits are unbelievable and there's the chance that I got lucky with the proc, even though that I ran 130 maps.
But even if you get HALF the frogs I did, that's over 20 divines per hour which is still massive.
The key here is not ignoring the details: we only specc the node for the frog variety, we use gilded scarab for extra beasts, we run low tier maps to cull the bad beasts from the pool.
Yeah even thought, I use this strat for a long time, it isn't that profitable every time, it is VERY rare that you get many frogs in 130 maps. I am not saying its a bad strategy, it's opposite, it's good but I feel like your thumbnail and promises are too exaggerated.@@aldodzb

Your results are hard to believe.
I've been running rusted beast scarabs and I get frog encounter maybe once every 50 maps. Yet according to your results, you're getting one every 9 maps. I understand gilded beast scarabs increase the number of red beasts by nearly 50%, but that's still a huge gap in your results vs mine.
ATTENTION Viewers: Beastiary has a MAX beast storage of 1000 beasts. When it gets full, no new beasts are ever added! I recommend deleting all beasts every ~50 maps. Get yourself a macro to spam leftClick/enter while your mouse is in front of the X to release beast.
Frog in t4 is about every 11 map

@@elsongodinhoabout the managerie, it not exactly that, the new beasts you capture override the old ones. But it's random, that's why I take them out as soon as I capture the frogs. Even If I don't see it, the chance is marginally low anyways.

Don't stop, with essences and deli orbs you are never going to lose currency anyways. Statistically we all are going to be unlucky sooner or later, you were more sooner than later.

@@187eo because there are beasts that only spawn in higher tier zones. Meanwhile, the frog can spawn in 68+ zones.
So, doing it in T2T3 makes it imposible to spawn some beasts, reducing the total pool therefore increasing the chance to see a frog.

More like, you can get unlucky, in fact some players are going to be unlucky 100%.
Like me in this league, dropped my first brothers gift after ~687 unions, when you should actually drop 1 each 100.
82 and no frogs with the atlas tree in that I showed here and gilded scarab, its VERY unlucky. I would even say to double check the regex.
@@aldodzbI've got a sample size of 1000 or so white maps this league and another 600 or so last league. Frog rate is about 1/10 - 1/15 maps on whole, gets doubled by sextant. Overall you got pretty lucky especially running above T4 maps. However if you had been doing it in whites you're just slightly lucky.
Overall it's good consistent profit and my personal experience confirms yours.
After trying this Strat, even getting 0 frogs, I made 30 div an hour from just deli orbs, however it is 2 weeks later and deli orb prices are horrific now. This strategy got a lot better

You can get 35-60 divines in one map with MF
True, I dropped an HH last week. Or in my last video, one of the map showcases I got 56 divines in a map.
However, this is just a different strat to have a fresh air and keep making a ton of currency.
Like I said, barely any setup needed (1 scarab, 1 sextant), no need to do the woods, barely any loot involved, no MF needed.
