@@RJ-rt5osI hadn’t heard of that. They better shape up quick. State of Decay 3 seems like it has a ton of potential, but not if devs get the same abuse as a lot of dev groups got across the industry over the last few years.
Nothing kills a game faster than killing a dev group’s moral.
This game is such a diamond in the rough that i wish more people would tap into. Gaming companies rarely create art that is dynamically unique with each experience and this game sets the bar so high. Thank you for this experience 🙏🏿
Let alone update it. Look at Skyrim And Fallout 4. Sometimes it's unbeatable but they it just works right.

Hi, please add bicycle as a mode of transport. I love playing with my friends and i think this can be a great addition to the vehicle rotation. Great game!
I think the reason they won't add any bikes (or motorcycle) is due to the crazy and deadly stunts you could do

The reason I keep coming back to SoD2 is because of how passionate the devs are and the free content updates, I've got probably half a dozen friends to play this game now and they are enjoying it too!

I love SOD2, but it would be nice to hear something about SOD3. I assume it's still in very early stages. That trailer they dropped wasn't really a trailer. Just an XBox showcase. Based on the lack of info since that time it's easy to think they hadn't even started developing the game when that video dropped
SOD3 is probably not even in active development.. even if it's probably int the very early stages
They have previously said, as of update 34, all of undead is now on SoD3. Leaving Wushu as lead developer on the current SoD2.

Love this game so much BUT out of 35 updates where are the MAP updates ?
A small dense city map at least? (Look at 'The Division 2' map for example) Doesn't have to be a huge city but c'mon SOME type of new urban environment.
I play on PC so thank goodness for some mods that add new immersive experiences (fog, snow, more followers, better loot, smarter A.I) Shout out to the modders that keep that side alive. Not to mention there are a TON of better outfits rather than the lackluster vanilla ones.
All in all thank you for all the updates over the years but from all the hours I put in they just seem like gaming additions I could've just downloaded from nexus mods.

I just started this game 4 days ago and I've already put 40 hours into it. I LOVE IT! Thank you for making my dream zombie survival game. I've been looking for a game like this for years.
I just started last month (had the game in my library for years) it’s freaking AMAZING!!! Almost core function I wanted from a zombie apocalypse survival game!! Omg my day counter was glitched, too, and I was terrified of losing my progress on the 100 days in dread or higher achievement again. At the start of the year I was at like 80 something days, and my whole save got corrupted 😭... if it happens again idk if I got the patience to make it 100 days again

love the game. my wife and i play together. alot of hype though for a bug fix.
issue i have is main hero quest not showing up when changing difficulty and restarting a existing community.
Try changing heroes then changing back. Unconfirmed but I heard that works.
You need to add bow and arrow and other ranged weapons

Game needs New maps desperately
I need some State of Decay 3
I really want to see another multiplayer game mode day break gets really boring and I really wanna see a feature where we’re allowed to create a custom character from all the character models and styles that are in the game already I would love to see that. I also can’t stress this enough but we need some desperate changes to lighting. Candles and light bulbs just don’t emit enough light. My base is at the baseball fields and the spotlights work but you would think the stadium would be lit up almost perfectly but it’s still really dark. Lighting should definitely be redone because it’s almost breaking the immersion of my gameplay experience. I also want to see more attachments for guns like mags and scopes and sticks or maybe special ammo. All these ideas would be so awesome to see in the game. And personally I think it would make the community really happy

Im glad when he said this game is meant to be more like a hobby than just a game you play and then youre done. Heard this in another video. Ive loved it since the first time on xbox 360. After I played the demo, I own every one. From the original, to breakdown, to lifeline, the YOSE installation. 2, and jugg edition, not even forgetting daybreak. Im a firm supporter of this game, will always love this. Thanks to the SOD team. Looking forward to new things and continuing. Before 3 drops, maybe run us a new map. 🤔 😊
Im craving more dense cityscape, with some sort of new exploration, in canon of course. Or maybe an all new breakdown with all maps. I love thinking of these things. The theme music is so subtle and catchy. Its in my head at random times. Maybe input a drunk feature, since there is tons of booze LOL
I would like the ability to build planks over windows like we could in state of decay one. Maybe something the builder leadership type gets.

Lol I love that you refered to the sea of thieves outfit as the best outfit in the game. You just made me all the more excited about it's return. I didn't have an Xbox in 2020 when it first dropped so I never had the chance to get it and everyone I saw pictures of it I got so jealous of anyone who had it. Everything about it is just perfect to me. Not a big fan of the button up shirt under it but that's whatever. The biker vest and military cargo pants combo just cements it as the coolest outfit in the game for me..I'm gonna make every one of my guys wear it and make us a bandit group.
I always find it fun being a bad guy in this game. Me and my friend took over the map and we would role play as if we were the head hanchos in the area she every time another group did something to step out of line or if they stole or killed someone we would roll up in an armored truck amd just wipe them out.
Is there official mod support for this game? I think that would help with longevity, especially on consoles, as we wait for SOD3

Please make a new map 😢. I think most of your player base wouldn’t mind paying $5-$10 for a new map with some new weapon/vehicle skins 🎉
Meanwhile, modders are putting battle drones, airplanes, and rocket launchers in the game....

Are they ever going to fix the screamers, when your character drives past one and they scream the scream doesn't fade like it used to. it just cuts off. Its just annoying.

Your last few updates have changed the game substantially.
I have about 800 hours between sd 1 & 2.
I enjoyed slowly farming a map, getting the best team possible, and then moving on to the next map to rinse and repeat. I played it as a slow survival game.
The past couple of updates have spiked difficulty to make this style of play impossible.
I uninstalled both games.
Make these updates optional
This game has to be played on lethal on all parts to get the real feal of survival

I hope that the Devs see this, but i am sure everyone who plays this will Love to Name their Own Community or generate Random names instead of being stuck with the same. Glad to see you guys are fixing the days counter as it been buggin me all the time. Since watching the stream it inspired me to going back to vanilla instead of a modded game.

If you guys would have made this game PVP… it would be the best game on the market… would definitely need an inventory similar to Escape From Tarkov, a medical system with different types of heals, and armor system, with body armor, helmets that offer protection, and weapons with attachments you can add to each weapon, a weapon customization system… if all of those things were in State Of Decay 2… people would never stop playing it… Imagine going into a town to loot, but other players being a threat… lots of other players to worry about, if you die… you lose all your loot( kinda of how it is) but if you take out other players, you can loot them and take their loot, would be great with a jigsaw style inventory system, where you can rotate items in the inventory, man… that is the game I want to play, hope State Of Decay 3 is exactly like that.

Come on with sod 3 already, taking way to long, and I can’t hardly play sod 2 on my Xbox One anymore because it can’t handle all these crazy updates, it’s constantly freezing and kicking me out to the Home Screen, and no it’s not my internet, only this game does it, the curve ball update messed the gameplay up bad, everyone is complaining about constant crashes yet nothing is being fixed properly

Black Heart is scary. On Dread its like 3 hand grenades or 4 pipe bombs or 4-5 molotovs to take out an ordinary Plague Heart. I got the Black Heart Curveball figured twice as much would be enough.. heck no, didn't even take the heart to the first damage step. Took like 24 40mm rounds and lord only knows how many pipe bombs and molotovs I had in the end. That thing is crazy and that isn't even covering how many black heart infected it attracts and those guys are fast!
Also I hope this updates fixes the crashes that have been happening since curveballs were introduced as the game NEVER ever crashed for me before.

added cooperative bugs??? Do the cars in the co-op still fly?? there are gaps through the ground??? there is still a flickering military SUV?? the game is 3 years old or more ((and microsoft has more bugs than workers
the bugs don't have to be rotated out, unlike like microsoft's contractors.

Hell i just had the flickering military truck bug earlier today, first time i ever saw it. Went away once i threw a couple repair kits at it and got doors back on it.

Hello Developer Team, really love your game and everything you guys do. I just had an idea that would be so awesome. A special feature where you can choose or recruit a special character from our RUclipsrs such as Brian Menard, Sunny, etc. Like being able to play them as a survivor. That would be soo awesome.

I played the first game when it came out and it was one of my favorite games then. And SOD2 is my favorite game now. There's so many awesome mechanics that I love managing, like the community and skills and loot..etc. Absolutely great game. I'm thankful for updates!
I like to survey the entire map before I get started.
I use to when I 1st started playing. It takes to much time after you have been in the same map over and over, I wish there was more maps.
