Being transposed up a little confused me at first, then I remembered the sax. Once I stuck my brain into Bb mode to whistle along with the sax, doing the guitar parts also worked fine 😊
Love the emotion put into some of those longer, wailing notes on the sax. Really gels well with the distorted-guitar ringing-out. I play both sax and guitar but have never tried to play along with anything as distorted this… mostly just surf-y reverb haha. I definitely want to try, like, full on growls and howls out the sax with distorted guitar now…
Glad you hung in there. Doom metal and sax is maybe not such a common thing, but we hope it's not too weird for the general public.
@@MadGearBand I binged your backlog so I love it :) I’d just forgotten what it was from the channel name alone! I play sax too, in tenor (though I started on soprano). So I love mixing it in with other instruments and uncommon genres!

Man I wonder what it's like to be able to notice that. I have perfect.. relative... pitch.. or whatever it is. Transposition is automatic to me, I never notice it.
