They missed an opportunity for a post credit scene with Santa and Krampus playing this game, Santa smacking the shit out of Krampus with him enjoying it because it was “just like when they were kids”.
I've gotta say, the heaviness of Krampus' hand is shown so well here. Every slap and hold sounds like there's genuine force behind it, and the Rock does a pretty good job of looking genuinely worried
@@papiagua Eh, agree to disagree. JK Simmons was criminally under-utilized, and if I had known that before watching, I wouldn't have been interested in another generic Rock movie.

Maybe the best Krampus ever put on screen? I'd say so. The head was flawless. The body/muscles could have been more realistic. A better ending of the movie would have been Krampus to deliver all the gifts since Santa was drained, Krampus was his brother so would have the same power to deliver the gifts.

The funny thing is that The Rock probably does have a relative or two with hands that size over his head. Polynesians are big peoples, and powerful as well.
Yeah, it was a good family christmas movie. It felt like the old family movies with fun bits, decent story and interesting characters. I also love the fact that they didnt go full CGI on Krampus and his people like they normally use too
Yes, they mostly fucked up on the promotion and the bloated budget (and the movies' pacing), they give actors higher salaries for straight to streaming movies, but then decided (partly influenced by the Rock's team) that they should also show it in theaters, which would normally mean that they re-negotiate the salaries as actors get a %. They didn't do that and ended up with the Rock getting a 50 million dollar paycheck on a massive 250 million budget. If that had been adjusted, they would have probably had a return on the investment even with the lackluster box office (about 180 million usd right now. I wouldn't have minded getting a sequel in the same universe with one of the other mythical groups/entities that are governed by the organization.
