Let’s see if we can find Mr Marvels amusement park from our childhood and go crabbing on Scorby Mills and come back on the miniature railway for a nostalgia packed time. "Music by Karl Casey" "@whitebataudio" "Music by Karl Casey" "@whitebataudio"

Definitely both very sad and very awesome! It's crazy to think how much nature has reclaimed all of that, and sad how it has closed down. It looks like it would have been a super fun place!! It's neat to see some stuff that maybe got built up to take its place or that didn't get abandoned. How fun!!

It was a big part of my childhood and I'm trying to remember most of it. A lot is still fuzzy though. Upcoming is the park which was more of a childhood memory. Thank you for watching 👍🏻

I highly recommend this fun, fascinating and informative Scarborough Abandoned Amusement Park video, by the Blue Harvest History Channel.

We used to call it scooby doo land in the 90s as it was still stuck in the 70s

When there is an act on security has to be the main concern - for the staff, artists and public. This is why you are not allowed to walk around the theatre most of the day before the start of a show. That moaning git complains that there wasn`t any acts that he liked - so what! Truth is there are many acts to suit everyone - you can`t set out just to please one person. I`ve seen loads of different acts there from heavy rock to Cliff and never been disappointed. The bands have to set up mid morning and then all the vendors will be getting ready for the show - that is why the public have to be kept out. By 6pm people are starting to arrive and in no time at all there are very long lines of people wating to come in. All those people have to be looked after and not put in any danger - it`s not an easy task for the security teams. The crowds are often between 7,000 and 8,000 people. And despite what bearded old git says the theatre was not used much at all in the 1970s and 1980s. the last proper show was around 1968 - since then there were maybe a few `its a knockout shows - and I mean a few! Then we had James last do a show and nothing for the next 20 years. It was run down and not used. These days it is very popular. The train by the way was always closed for 8 months of the year - now it is run by a local family and is open just about every day all year round.

Thank you for that. The access up to the abandoned park was also closed unfortunately, hense going all the way around and nearly killing myself getting up the 'public path' 😆
I did talk to the security guy off camera and had a laugh with him.
