as a reply to the description i've also been in a slump. i have been doing the absolute bare minimum to complete the work for my classes. being in my sophomore year of college I thought that I would continue my habits from last semester but I haven't. thankfully it has been raining recently so the sound of thunder and the smell of wet pavement outside has given me some motivation to complete my work. it is a hard battle to deal with but I have hope that I will get out of it and I wish the best for you and your semester!!

Dear Deborah, Hi dear friend! I've had a stressful and quite eventful week. I got diagnosed with PCOS recently, and it has been quite stressful. Running tests, doing sonograms, Just trying to figure what what has happened. The first couple of days after the diagnosis were overwhelming. I was very shocked and I felt helpless and my mind couldn't help but stray to negative thoughts. Thankfully, I have a very loving unit of family and friends, who have been the best support system ever. We are still waiting on test results to find out what stage/type of PCOS I have, but I feel much better and positive about it now. My school closes for holiday after one more week for a festival we celebrate in our country, and I'm really looking forward to it! We had our midterms (which were exhausting 😩) throughout August, and we haven't had any holidays since then. I'm really waiting for the 12 day leave so I can relax, rest and do what I love for a while. I am planning to read (my TBR list is huuugggeee), listen to music and spend time with my family! I'm really more of homebody, so whereas my friends have plans for trips, I prefer staying home, as always. Ever since the diagnosis, I've tried to be kinder to my body. I've tried to listen to it more. I realise now that I haven't quite done it in the past, and it's pretty unfortunate it took me a diagnosis to start the practice of self-love, but I guess better late than never! Fall is here, which is one of my FAVORITE seasons! Coffee, walks, beautiful leaves, blankets, books and Gilmore Girls! Where I stay, there isn't much changes in nature, but somedays, during the afternoon, a lot of small yellow leaves drift down from the tree because of the wind. It's really beautiful! 🍁🍂🌾 This will be all for now. I feel so much better having talked to you. I hope you're having good days. Dear dobochobo, my life is a little crazy right now, so this comforting video really helped, and I think I will come back to it often over the next weeks. I just moved out from my childhood home across the country. From a village to the biggest city in my country lol. University starts tomorrow and with it a whole new part of my life. I am not alone though, I moved in together with two of my closest friends. Mostly we are having a great time, laughing, joking, watching movies, exploring the city. But we also have some rough times where we are all just being passive aggressive lul. I guess we just have to figure out what it means not to live with your mom anymore, but with your friends who are just as lost as you are. I also started drama school which is something I always wanted but it’s still extremely terrifying. I am looking forward to finally start dancing lessons again and I still have to find a job. So yeah, a lot has been going on and while I can’t wait for life to finally get busy again after this really hard and long year since I graduated in 2020, I also sometimes feel afraid and overwhelmed. But then I just remind myself to take it one step at a time and to appreciate the here and now, which is something your videos really help me with. With Love, Lia (in Austria)
