The rudder was trimmed too far forward making it unstable. So at high speed down the wave it violently tried to go one side or the other, i tried to keep it straight and it broke. You can see just before the capsize that my stern is kind of shaking side to side. Once the rudder snapped i lost all steering, and could not keep the boat straight when the whitewater caught back up to use. So since then, when i expect high speeds, i trim the rudder back a little and it is stable.

@@NA-su3jk Yes exactly, i set it at around 60 degrees and its very stable but heavier on the tiller then at 90 degrees
