No there are not secondary wires.. check to make sure you have right bulbs.. Some cheap led throw codes check brand to make sure it’s right for your car..
check fuse. then check bulb.. after switching the bulb from the working side to the side I had problems with i saw that the bull didn't come on so at that point I did the ballast.. I knew the bulb was not the problem because the side it came from worked.
Hey man. Quick question, Low beam light went out ages, then the day time led went off. I changed the low beam with a new one and still was off. Can it be the ballast?
If the led strip also want out could be a power issue but I’m not sure.. I dont remember the ballast having to do with the led.. the low beam could be the ballast.. I would check fuse and also check voltage with a reader..

This is a good informative video, my passenger high beam works but not my low beam, so i replaced both bulbs and the passenger bulb worked for a day and then stopped working (still high beam works but not low beam) i am guessing it is the Ballast, where did you buy your Ballast? Hey thanks.. I purchased my ballast off amazon vs the oem one only for one reason because warranty.. oem one has no warranty. Amazon has 2 years and they are good for it. Only paid 5 bucks for shipping after they sent it so a can send back the core.. company I used was “XtremeVision” On amazon

Could be a fault in the light system and it has to be reset.. if it was the ballast then neither high or low would come on because it’s the same bulb for both..
My passenger side low beam will not turn on sometimes when the car starts and j get the "dipped beam light" warning. Turning the car on and off will fix this. I've switched the bulb with a brand new one and this hasn't don't anything. Does this sound like the ballast? Also, how long does this install take? And are there any screws to remove ok the bottom (underneath) the bumper? Thanks!
having an intermittent issue with my passenger side low beam not working but drls work fine. replaced the headlight selector switch a few times but it still doesnt change the passenger side from going in and out when it wants too. Some days i start up the car and it works some days it doesnt. Just want to know the problem you were having to see if we were experiencing similar issues before i go changing my passenger ballast. honestly my light want out.. to make sure it wasn’t the bulb I switched it with the other side and tested it and everything worked.. which lead me to believe it could be the ballast. I got mine off Amazon because it has warranty, the oem one those not. also I learned the lights have a system that can be reset with computer or advanced scan tool.
@@ThatGuySkiney intresting I can probably do a reset vagcom. (I assume this is the system your referring too) but I bought a new ballast and wire to ballast because I just don’t know why it works sometimes and doesn’t other-times so I’m Hoping this replacement makes it work at all times.

I just bought an replace the bulb and didn't work, thinking of switching the bulb to late lol, the old bulb worked in the other side, so last option here is this ballast. btw, is there a fuse?? where is it located ?
is your other bulb working.? swap the bulb in question to the side you know is working. then go from there depending on what you find. it could be either one but you can test the bulb first

it could be the problem for sure.. I say all the screws you would need to remove in the video. maybe 20 min to an hour. it depends on the person..

naw it’s plug and play. but you can try and restart the light system. you need Carista pro or obdeleven to reset system

I'm having a issue with my 2013 cc where the passanger headlight will turn on and then just turn off after a few seconds and then i get check light!
You have the wrong bulb in it that is why it’s shutting off instantly.. check your bulbs and make sure they are the right ones for your car bro
