- Welcome back to our custom motorcycle build series, where we're converting a stock Harley Davidson Sportster into a hardtail beauty. Cool material !
The ol handlebars on a garbage can, frame leaned over on a 2x4 trick. Works everytime
I was convinced the can would buckle any second haha
@@coleyellowbirdwelds I like how he doesn’t need any fancy gear - just basic tools and an old plastic garbage can, lol.
It's good to see people with determination to get things done. Keep working on the bike and make it cool
Thank you! Motivation comes and goes but I've got a fire lit under my ass at the moment. Thanks again!

Slowly but surely ❤
Man is making progress. Keep it up!
Thanks dude!
I’m glad these videos exist. I thought it needed to be tig welded for the plugs/rosettes?
Was that flux core or solid wire?
Love me some mag wheels , cool build so far
Thank you for the kind words! I'm using a Hobart Handler 140 (MIG with solid wire with mixed gas 75/25) welder for the entire build (including frame plugs), it's been a game changer from the cheapo harbor freight flux core I did have for about a month before I returned it.
NGL, that near fumble @1:12 made me nervous. I know it was "secure" but it moved a little too much for a moment.
My back still hurts lol
@@SUPPORTYOURSELF saw your shakedown ride. Seems to have worked out well!
@@Bedevere the hardtail has been holding up! Probably the most solid part of the entire build honestly
