Agreed. Great food! Fellinis on Wickenden St has some of the best pizza around.

The Johnson & Wales culinary influence combined with the large Italian heritage that has invested in top notch Euro cuisine. I would love to see a review of Providence that begins under the pine nut archway, at the beginning of Federal Hill and travels down the 12 blocks of 5 star restaurants, one after another, that strangely all thrive, and don’t seem to cannibalize each other. Providence has the highest per capita of restaurants of any city it’s size in the country. There are restaurants for almost every budget.

Federal Hill is probably the best known but I’m amazed at the variety and quality of restaurants and food trucks all throughout the city. Not just Euro cuisine. Los Andes (Peruvian and Bolivian) is consistently ranked as one of the top restaurants and is located well outside the Federal Hill and downtown areas.

On the east side up next to brown University is a nice park with a statue and lots of benches and overlooks the downtown area both beautiful at day and night when the city is all lit up. Great park to have a picnic or a quick lunch

There is no west side the west end and the city is not that dangerous you can visit any side of town during decent hours .

I’m actually visiting again in a couple of weeks. Do you have any recommendations for neighborhoods and restaurants? We want to branch out from downtown.
