This was pretty much my first time seeing someone deciding to play around in just small bodies of water, but I felt grateful for watching this because it just looks like people could actually care about the smallest part of nature that you easily walk past by.
When i was 5 - 7 years old i used to play with the little canal that waters our rice field.. I see alot of tadpoles there during rainy seasons and i just pick them up with my water bottle (The same one i use for school) and it's kinda disgusting.. My grandparents always used to scold me for that

i used to pick up baby frogs cuz i thought they were so cute! Until i crushed one by accident while trying to get them with my bare hands..
most people forget that nature had to start somewhere, had to start small, but there's always something the closer you look.
Bruh, when I was little I jumped in a pond, had leaches all over me, got scared and jumped BACK IN to get rid of them💀
For everyone’s information, the giant bug that was attacking the tadpoles is a giant water bug (Toe bitter). It is known for biting peoples toes! It’s bite can really hurt! I’ve encountered one in my pond and almost got bit in the toe, guess that’s how It got its name. I avoided the bite just in time, and jumped out of the pond and ran screaming! Lol

I used to have one of those diving beetles as a pet. I live in the city, so I don't know how it got into my yard, but I kept it in a water tank and I would feed it fish food, and sometimes actual raw fish. The red things you saw on it in the bucket were mites, they're the good kind of mites that live on insects in the wild. They feed on parasites, so these mites are actually good for the insect they're living on. They have a symbiotic relationship :)

My wife and I spent an afternoon saving tadpoles from a pond that was drying up over 25 years ago. We had to drive them to another pond and released them. It's nice to see others caring about the natural world around them.
Where I live, you can't release tadpoles orfrogs, they could be invasive to the pound.
@@hazelbreeden574 well, from my experience frogs and tadpoles are controlling mosquitoes and some other pests. I guess it all depends on frog species and nature, or laws. Everywhere is different. For example - where I live, there is a law not allowing humans to keep owls, monkeys, some common wild animals. Idk why lol. Laws are just stupid sometimes I guess 😅
@@ALIENIGHTMARE while yes, they control bugs, you shouldn’t move them unless you’re sure they are not invasive. Maybe there is a different type of frog in that pound that’ll be driven away when the new ones hatch. In the video above, it seems to be originally been the same pond, but parts of the pond (likely at the edges) dried. Wich means it’s likely the same species or even from the same hatch, so likely also not invasive. Please NEVER put animals you’re not sure where they belong to into another habitat of ‘theirs’ in an act of ‘rescuing’ them. By that, you are possibly endangering other species, or the animal you wanted to rescue. It’s like releasing goldfish into the wild. 🤦♀️
Also if you see injured animals it’s often more practical to just call animal shelters if it’s not in critical condition. Especially important for baby animals. Mother might not want it back after you touched it and smeared your scent all over it.
Law enforcements are already strained where I live. Enabling other animals to be kept will be catastrophic. Especially if these animals are able to be found in the wild. There’s gonna be even more animal abuse than now and ecosystem might as well go to sh*t. How can you even provide for the right habitat? Will you be able to keep up with the owls nightly activity as it demands to be fed in the middle of the night since it’s when it usually hunts? Is your house large enough and can it make sure the monkey feels well?
Also: cats and dogs etc. are often specially breed to be able to be kept as domesticated animals. You cannot just say “I want that tiger.” Or “I want that wolf.” Even domesticated animals can pose a danger.
Also making laws for so many new ‘pets’ would be a pain. It’s easier to simply say you can’t keep them unless you have a qualified license or special permit. It’s also easier to ensure these animals safety. Humans are often selfish and cannot be trusted to keep wild animals without the risk of damage for both party’s.
Law itself is never stupid, because humans make laws based on their PAST mistakes, not as a precaution. Humans are known to have abusive behavior towards animals and are known to be stupid enough to keep parrots in tiny cages. That’s why. Law can be executed like it’s dumb.

도롱뇽알이 부활할 시기에 올챙이들이 다 잡아먹는다던데 세상에 이치겠죠 그래서 도롱뇽이 많이 없는게 아쉽긴하지만... 근데 올챙이들이 우리가 싫어하는 모기 유충을 엄청나게 좋아하는거보면 먹히고 먹히는세상이 이치라 감성없이 봐야겠네요
Many tadpoles get died before they turn to a frog and many rare tadpoles turns into frog but you feed them which is really appreciable thing 😊

This creature is called a water scorpion (although it has nothing to do with ordinary scorpions: a water scorpion is an insect, an ordinary scorpion is an arachnid). The needle at the rear end is for breathing. I have met them too, they are very interesting creatures.😅

Hey pleasebee! I really respect that you are trying to save the tadpoles… but they are a natural prey of an ecosystem, the predator needs food to survive, if there were no tadpole hunters, they would overpopulate! Since there are to many tadpoles, other animals would run out of food, then since there is no food, the tadpoles would die too. Their predator, in the other hand would also die, since there is nothing to hunt for, and yes, that can affect us too. Im not trying to hate, im just saying, its really cute that you save the tadpoles and everything, but think about what is wrote here, thank you for your time reading this!
